If I wasn't sure on episode 1, 2 and 3 definitely have me sucked in. I only wish I could watch it all in one go now. Gossiping tent lady to reappear asap please.
So good again and poor Daemon who can’t seem to keep it up. It’s very engrossing compared to GoT where we jumped around so much.

HotD is a very concentrated, condensed story with a trimmed down cast. It might open up but it makes it very easy for newcomers to come in objectively.
LOTR is massive. You could watch it fresh but it is a massive expansion on the Pre-trilogy mythology.
