I was briefly in one
Great for you but I’m trying to find my own relationship not be a guest star in yours.
Would you prefer MFM, FFM, or a little quad, or would you not be fussy?I wouldn't be against the concept, although finding two other people who also feel that way seems pretty unlikely.

Form an orderly queue boys!Threesomes are enough of a minefield as it is!
Fair. I guess I’m conflating throuples and open relationships. That's not how it works.
A bigger bed to start off with.I know a guy married to his husband for years who were seemingly suddenly in a throuple. It's been a while so I don't think anything of it, but I desperately want to know the sleeping arrangements.

Yeah but imagine being the middle one who doesn't get to hug the edge of the duvet and whose face will ALWAYS be having to face someone.Me too! But when I think about it, I always presume it's going to be something like Mel B's bedroom in MTV Cribs where she'd sewn four doubles together or something![]()
I'd need an end piece please.Yeah but imagine being the middle one who doesn't get to hug the edge of the duvet and whose face will ALWAYS be having to face someone.I'd need an end piece please.

certainly wouldn't say I think it's weird as I do see the benefits in it and why people would want that kind of relationship. For me though, although I wouldn't say I was particularly fragile, I would imagine it would send my anxiety levels through the roof on a regular basis. For someone that just wants an easy life that's a stress I can easily do without!
How briefly? Isn’t that just a threesome?
I mean, at a wedding, do you have to invite ALL THREE?
Again, replace all three with a gay couple - and that’s what many people would have said years ago. And some still do. I know of weddings where they haven’t invited the same sex partner of someone.
If the 3 of them are showing up in co-ordinated outfits then they’re uninvited.
Please be more sensitive. A throuple ate my babyThe levels of PROJECTION in this thread!
I hear people in throuples EAT BABIES ALIVE![]()
Imagine if they ganged up on you?!
I've gone for totally fine, I do find it a bit weird I guess and it's certainly not something I could ever do. But if each member is happy with it then why not. I did actually know a throuple. Man and woman married for years but she fell in love with another woman. She still loved her husband. They chatted. They became a throuple. Went for romantic dinners together, shared a bed together etc.
He's dead now. So they're a couple.

Oh SHUT UP, stop trying to make ridiculous comparisons where there aren’t any.
It’s fuck all to do with not recognising the validity and more about having THREE people to pay for!
Well you should have said that then!
I don't know, maybe this makes me one of the people this post is about but I just see people making light of a type of relationship setup that everyone here seems to actually support in principle (whether or not they would actually want to engage in one themselves). The POOR ATTEMPTS at GALLOWS HUMOUR in this thread to avoid having to contemplate hard, naked truths about the societies we've grown up in and the values we are told are inmutable is QUITE SOMETHING to watch.
This reads very close to OI LIGHTEN UP after expressing discomfort at an inappropriate gay joke by your straight mates back in the 90s. If you can't sense how making fun of something that literally one message above you've been told is a sensitive issue for people who sometimes have to hide these relationships because they are constantly judged by society, maybe you're part of the problem too.I don't know, maybe this makes me one of the people this post is about but I just see people making light of a type of relationship setup that everyone here seems to actually support in principle (whether or not they would actually want to engage in one themselves).
