Your entry was quite similar in sound to mine - I wonder if one of them could have qualified if they were split across the two semis?

do you think? I thought yours was different to everything, Rocky and had some energy! You got my 8 babes (and I always thought I hated Miku)

Oh bless you :love: And yeah they weren't too similar to us connoisseurs of course, but I could see people hearing Japanese songs with female processed vocals and mentally throwing them in the same bin :(
 
I'm not especially upset at not qualifying. I liked my song before this but it was hardly a classic. It was actually my third choice. My first choice was a duo and one of them featured in this. Not sure if it qualified.

I had never seen the video before. I kinda hated it but went with it anyway. My semi had quite a bit if similar in it which may have got lost in the crowd a bit.

On balance the language limitation wasn't especially fun.

Who knows? There could be another wildcard which you could win and go on to finish Top 3 again.
 
I don’t even know all the results, every time I tried to open it on my phone but it kept coming up with an error “This page has multiple problems” and I was like OH YOU DONT EVEN KNOW BITCH
 
Well with all love and respect to Kala and his mother I suspect we won't know for a while.

There was some sort of worldwide internet shutdown last night :D
 
OK finally dissecting the results, 6 of my points-scorers were out, including my 10 for @Ag , my 8 for @Gangsta Nancy Lam , my 8 for @COB and my 6 for @SDF

At least I don't have to dredge the stuff I never gave points to for the final. I could probably vote right now since I have the rates from before.

Yeah my final votes are ready to go; most of my top scorers made it apart from my third-placed song in both semis.
 
Hi folks. Thanks for your patience on stuff and your messages and comments. Mum is doing ok. She had a mini stroke, hit her head on the kitchen counter and passed out. Doctors think she is going to be ok. She will be getting out in a day or so.

Is there anything on tomorrow night? We could have the viewing party for the final then? Everything is good go to with the playlist and recap video.

Just do what you want re: the viewing party. Everyone understands. No I don't think anything is happening tomorrow, but if you need to be there for her, help her get home, make sure she's okay then no-one will expect you to run a Moopy thing concurrently! :tongue:

I do think we cancelled each other out, particuarly as we were drawn right together.

So.. PART DEUX of the Grand Final will be on us shortly. We will kick off with the reveal of 11-19th places in each of the semi finals, followed by the live viewing of the Grand Final straight afterwards.
 
Will you reveal the points of the songs finishing 10th? I wanna know how close it was.
