Celebrate You was the first album track to click with me. I struggle a bit with Where Does The DJ Go that on her 15th or whatever album she’s singing about where does the DJ go after the party. Home I imagine. Basic. Anyhow three listens in and the album is starting to embed and sound good.
 
I just have the signed CD and the deluxe. Depending on what they offer up this week I could be persuaded to go for vinyl.

Saying that, I assume that a re-release next year with multiple new formats is quite likely.

I know this isn't really relevant to you @monsta so perhaps someone else can answer - are coloured vinyls considered a good listening these days?

It does look beautiful. The deluxe CD packaging isn't so great. I wish I had purchased it from her store now - in that slightly larger book bound cover.
 
I can't even think of the idea of Kylie fans underwhelmed (or indeed, whelmed) by this album.

I'm SO fucking happy with the result. I don't love her half as much as some of you lot here but for someone who regularly never gets an album right, I feel she's delivered for the first time in an AGE. Golden was consistent but lacking, and the last time she was consistent AND quality was Body Language. Yet...I may prefer this. And therefore I do declare it her best album since Fever.

The singles are so wrong too, not that it matters massively. I mean there are a WEALTH of tracks ten times stronger than Magic (which I should never have declared better than the cosmic experience of Say Something, but it has its charms).

Such a joy from start to finish - Supernova and Dance Floor Darling the proper highlights

Watch this. Pseudo intellectual review of Disco by an American professor teaching in France. Loves the album but hates her voice:D. His daughter hates it but wants to dance to it. :disco:

It’s actually quite interesting. He seems to know his stuff but is completely unfamiliar with the rest of her work apart from Can’t Get You Out Of My Head..

He picks out the right highlights.

Oh and I’m ready to do a rerate. It might just be the fabulousness of that a Livestream but this album is speaking to me even more than it did before.

I am so impressed with her higher register on this album. It totally makes it for me.

They've clearly had a balls-up at the pressing plant.

But frankly, so what? Does anyone buy records to listen to them any more?
 
NB - I haven't been able to get excited about this yet but I'm sure I'll pick it up once the CD with the extra tracks isn't seventeen-fucking-quid in the shops.
 
It's already sold more than Step Back In Time did to reach #1, then :disco:

won't matter once those first week sales in :disco: no doubt capitalist queen Kylie Ann accounted for that when she masterminded the plan of marketing a non-existent vinyl variant

My copy has gone to my friends house, which has since between destroyed by my awful godson.

She has now reordered.

I think both have sold out on the website. She needs to release a few thousand more while the gays are all juiced up and the shops are shut.

Surely there must be some spare marbled vinyl lying around.

Good that she has kept her lead. It will be disappointing if she holds it all week and then falls below at the end when they add the extra streaming data.
