I was surprised by that too. But thinking it through, most leaks tend to happen when the physical product is put on shelves prematurely. Not sure that is possible in most places. In any event isn’t it almost Friday in Australia??

Yep, about 15 hours until midnight in New Zealand, so we'll get it then at the the very latest. A few people already have it, but they aren't leaking. I suppose at this point, it's actually rather cool that it never leaked until it officially went on sale!

I ordered it to get the tour presale code but I’ll be BUGGERED if I can find the confirmation and I need this HOT SHIT in my life tomorrow.
 
I'm listening to uncontested album of the decade Born This Way to get myself a little moist with anticipation. Talk about BANGER after BANGER after BANGER - she came for our wigs with that one. In the name of being reasonable I'll try to keep my expectations for Chromatica more in line with Artpop. :disco:

09 Free Woman - I need some time to adjust to the changes to the demo, but it's sounding good
06 Fun Tonight - forgettable, ludicrously short
06 911 - the verses have something but overall it's not poppin'
08 Plastic Doll - this is more like it :disco: that chorus is prime Gags
07 Sour Candy - painfully short, it's literally an interlude
08 Enigma - YES! this is so good, loving those 90s piano house vibes under that screamathon chorus :disco:
07 Replay - did she write this in her sleep? oh the vocal on this is quite absurd :D it won me over by the middle 8
08 Babylon - wow the reinvention worked a TREAT on this one

The album gets going in its second half - let's see how it grows, but so far Alice/Fun Tonight/911 feel redundant. It's so annoying how every song is so short.

I'm not hearing a clear 3rd single so I guess it'll have to be Free Woman, but ain't no other huge hits here - so why cap every track at 2:53?
 
This album isn't as immediate as Fame Monster or Artpop, but I feel that my ranking a week from now will be much higher than it is now.

However, Plastic Doll is an early favourite, as is Sour Candy. I just wish every one of these tracks had at least another 30 seconds.

I am going for an overall 7/10 for now.
 
I'm a little... nervous about this album the further I go in. Laughing crying emoji.
