By now this really is the definitive version of Shirley Bassey.
 
Blondie - For Your Eyes Only
Now this is a rejected theme that I definitely prefer to the one that was used! Sorry SHEEN. Basically the film's composer Bill Conti wanted Debbie Harry to perform the theme, she didn't want him to write it and came up with this with the rest of Blondie instead. Conti didn't like it, and rejected it in favour of a song he initially wanted Donna Summer to sing (but the studio insisted on - and got - Sheena Easton instead). Blondie's song ended up on their 1982 album The Hunter.
 
I just realised that I'm accidentally trolling our Sheena by having Sheena Easton LIPPING TO BLONDIE :D
 
Is For Your Eyes Only the one where the villain decides to kill him by dragging him around behind a speedboat because it would be too time consuming and imprecise to just shoot him several times in the face?

I also love this. I've no idea how the film goes, but while I love Sheena's ballad moreso as a standalone song, this one is much more traditional bond-theme sounding.

Joss Stone and Dave Stewart - I'll Take It All
The videogame 007 Blood Stone featured several actors from the films, including Daniel Craig and Dame Judi. It also featured future sausage costume wearer Joss Stone, both in a voice role and performing the theme song (written by Dave Stewart who was presumably glad of a break from Madame Mung Bean to be involved with this project). I honestly think this is far better than it has any right to be! Also I hope you enjoy this, as it MIGHT be cropping up again later :eyes:

As YouTube commenter Garry Ford says, "Sporty Spice has grown into Sultry Spice!!" You're not wrong, Gaz - here's everyone's favourite Spice Girl from Merseyside with a very nice rendition of Sheena Easton's 1981 theme. Will Mel be the only Spice to appear tonight? Who knows!
 
I assume the people who made these titles just decided ‘like Casino Royale, but the baddies will burst into diamonds rather than playimg cards’.
