Meanwhile in Soldi’s hometown…

I want one of these but the good ones are so expensive, I'll try leaving the front door open in case one of them escapes from a nearby hotel.
Maybe, but thankfully it didn’t get far enough to trigger a rise of the machines…

However, much to everyone's relief, the device was found nestled under a hedge on Friday afternoon by a (human) hotel cleaner sprucing up the front drive.
It was dusted off and "is now back sitting happily on a shelf with the rest of its robot vacuum family", the hotel confirmed.

Shame! Are they popular in UK? A lot of friends/family have been getting one lately. I bought one for my parents this Xmas but I had to return it because my mother couldn't cope with it. I want one with self-emptying but they are bloody expensive, maybe next black friday.

My Dad has a robot lawnmower which is pretty good. Not sure about the vacuums as I assume they’re more effective on floors with no carpets.

Oh true, most of you have carpets there, not good for those damn robots. I have parquet (sp?) so it would work fine.
