I think it's safe to say you can never trust a 'restaurant' that sees nothing wrong in handing out gravy stained menus.
They are part of a chain, aren't they? I seem to remember eating at one of their other restaurants in one of the Heathrow terminals a couple of years back. Also a French one.

Whenever I feel particularly wanky, I head straight for my nearest BHS cafe. It's so pretentious but their egg & cress is to die for.

The concept of Pret a Manger being pretentious is tickling me no end, as is the idea of it operating on the same level as Subway or Greggs.
