It's YOUR FAULTGranted I’ve only been in there once

“admiring the goods”I will mourn the loss of Wilko. During the first lockdown, only essential shops were open and Wilko was one of them. I used to go almost daily and walk up and down the aisles, admiring the goods as if I was in an exhibition.

OH NO followed by I’VE ONLY BEEN IN THERE ONCEOh no. A brand new Wilko opened in my area just in 2021. Granted I’ve only been in there once, but opening new locations post-COVID, I’d have thought they were doing OK.

I was about to say! Don't make me traipse out to HAMILTON then moan about going under, the nerve of itStrangely absent from Glasgow and Edinburgh city centres.

Same, I think the nearest is Thurrock. Wilko is local.Yeah, but fuck ikea. It's 50 miles away and you have to set aside an entire day to allow for the marathon distance level of trudging around the whole building.
That was our first thought.I don't want to HAVE to go to SAVERS![]()
Our branch is the same. God forbid you want to turn back. Can’t stand Savers and their claustrophobic aisles!
My IKEA is just around the corner from the new Wilko. It’s really very convenient, but you need to reserve an extra hour if finding something on the second floor, just in case you get lost.
I JUST bought a new sofa bed last month!Have you been?
The only quite major downside there being living in or near CHARLTONMy IKEA is just around the corner from the new Wilko. It’s really very convenient, but you need to reserve an extra hour if finding something on the second floor, just in case you get lost.
Then there’s a massive B&Q next to it, a Home Sense AND a new Home Bargains. That’s only half of the superstores all bundled together around Charlton/Greenwich Peninsula.

Greenwich is quite lovely thank you!The only quite major downside there being living in or near CHARLTON![]()
Well I didn’t say GREENWICHGreenwich is quite lovely thank you!
