her career resurgence is truly heartwarming. it makes me think she'll have a lifelong career with many peaks and valleys. that she's only 30 and seems to be entering her prime in many ways is pretty exciting I think, it reminds me a bit of Madonna in the 90s. she's just too talented and charismatic not to root for, and I think those new years specials have maybe elevated her a bit toward national treasure status in the US.The fact that she is going to have her second transatlantic #1 ten years after her last. The longevity![]()
This seems somewhat true, but I don't think her star ever faded. The songs just weren't connecting here really bar "Malibu" since Bangerz. "Flowers" is a perfect fit for her and I think will translate into album success. It's far too early but there's already talk of it being a year-end #1 with the amount of streaming and airplay it's getting. It also pulled off something stupid like 75k pure sales, which is pretty unheard of these days unless you're Taylor Swift.her career resurgence is truly heartwarming. it makes me think she'll have a lifelong career with many peaks and valleys. that she's only 30 and seems to be entering her prime in many ways is pretty exciting I think, it reminds me a bit of Madonna in the 90s. she's just too talented and charismatic not to root for, and I think those new years specials have maybe elevated her a bit toward national treasure status in the US.
maybe @POP! or @RJN can confirm/pull from the cwej book of stats.
Also: the fact that Miley Cyrus is now 17 years into her career Jesus Christ I'm old!!
Not a surprise at this point but good for her!
Wait! Party in the USA was number one too in the US wasn't it? Surely her third.
I hear Party in the USA way more than I Gotta Feeling these days tbh.The combination of I Gotta Feeling and Party In The USA can still be heard at every single wedding, bar mitzvah, etc.
Same now that I think about itI hear Party in the USA way more than I Gotta Feeling these days tbh.
Why does everyone love her all of a sudden
I think this song is just kind of universally relatable, and has some similarities to As It Was. Its reminding the public of her
