Moopy Dance Anthem Rate 2020 - Nominations close Saturday 23rd May

I am absolutely ASTONISHED we don’t have Rozalla - Everybody’s Free here yet.
 
So for my shortlist of 25 I've got 110 so far. I want to minimise the amount of emotionally manipulative trance tracks I chuck in because, as progressive as Moopy is, I don't think it wants or needs a full 9 minute odyssey with full orchestral breakdown. Hopefully other people will nominate a few I've shortlisted so it will hurt less to cull them.

Getting a bit into it now, and I'm starting to hope this Moopmeet @Ag mentioned in the POTW thread will turn out to be a load of us taking cheap pills and crying in a field to Solar Stone.

Oh God I miss dancing like that. You feel like you're at one with the music and making physical poetry, in reality you look like you've taken a load of pills and have left the planet, especially since the music you're at one with is actually the fire alarm because someone tried to light a fag in the toilet.

I think that's a sterling suggestion. I've decided to spend the weekend getting my 867 different playlists into some sort of order. so I think a thread where we all share devastating trance with each other is definitely on the cards. Tonight has made me want to go out so badly, and all I've had is a can of cider and a brew.

We had three sets of votes in the first 24 hours, and I'm expecting more today. It's Saturday, it's Eurovision weekend, and Boris Johnson may or may not have said we can or can't go out and drink in parks, so there's no excuse for you not to be arseholed and weeping about Fool Boona's 'Popped' not making your top 25.
 
Oh I missed this. I’ll make a list later. Also how have I missed this track until 2020? It’s from ‘99 but akin to something a few years earlier.
 
I also danced off my tits to this remix in the clubs for over a year without knowing who it was and discovered by picking up her album in a second hand record store because it had Let The Music Play on it. Ah those pre internet days.

Oh I love that too but it was the Motiv8 mix our clubs were playing at the time. I remember hearing it starting up in the background whilst attempting a sensible conversation with someone I hadn’t seen in years but couldn’t focus and had to give in to the music and cut the chat short.

I was looking at the Spotify playlist and it just didn't feel right without these on it.

I've still got 15 picks left, so I can indulge myself a bit later on.
