You know, I was looking up to see if DJ Tiesto has held on to his Dracula good looks and see he has a 24 year old wife. I have judged him, but this remix is utterly sublime. He must favour the alternative vocal as I also discovered a youtube clip of him playing it live. An outer body experience.
 
Southern Sun was one of the last songs eliminated from my list. I like it but I feel convinced that there's a mix out there somewhere that pays off on all the things that it keeps promising.

Stratford is the only tube station I've been through where the doors opened on both sides of the carriage. But that's for the LONDON FORUM.
 
I really don't know this one at all! I wasn't convinced on a Spotify listen.

I had this as my number one (for 2 weeks!) back when we did 'personal charts' as far back as dotmusic. Well that got boring quick, but while I did them..

It's SO good, this video/recording does it no justice and that album had several gems that were stunning - including a Nelly Furtado song that was 10/10 as I recall
 
I wanted to do the 'I only smoke weed when I need to' version of this because I can nail the rap part, but decided against it.
Faithless - Insomnia. This came fifth.
 
This is obviously a classic, but I've also always been weirdly unmoved whenever I hear it.

I really wanted to do the full unedited mix, but it's nine minutes. Would have been worth it, mind.
 
As much as I love Rollo's remix of Dreamer and his Kristine W collab Feel What You Want, I just never liked Faithless themselves. Still, can't get no sleep is still better than Sister Bliss's solo Can't Get A Man handbag thing.

I know I said it last week, but Faithless will always be Creamfields, off my tits in a field in Liverpool, dancing with a midget on my shoulders. I can never not love them for that memory alone.
