I mean that chart run looks quite normal in 2020. Not in 1995 when singles were huge sellers

Fucking love chart runs like like these from the GOOD chart days. Never Ever has a similar one.
 
Robin S might not survive the same over playing and conjure the same dreaminess when revisiting it, but I think it's the right winner of the 2. I liked the DJ Tonka remixes of this and Luv 4 Luv as a way to combat the fatigue. However, I do feel the song owes a lot to Madame Kechia Jenkins and I Need Somebody.

1990, USA, No. 6 smash in 1993! It wasn’t even fucking close. Robins (39) smashed every vote she was put to. The only fact I want to give you here is that she recorded it while she had the flu (which you can tell, I think). Presented without comment otherwise, your WINNER.
 
Missing was huge in USA, it was song of the year in one of the most famous top 40 shows, as it received massive airplay during months.
