I have no idea whether it's a new moon, but I watched this and I'm convinced of its power:

Sharon would be aghast at all of the rose colour-variations in the gardens of the old-people bungalows round the corner from me!

Also the last new moon was June 28th and the next one is July 28th, she posted this the day before the full moon.

after my online lessons I wanted a stretch so I want to Starbucks to prep tomorrows lessons and get some tea and a doughnut

The lady who serve me gave me this horrific scene of mutilation from the aforementioned doughnut

UGH my schedule tomorrow is BOLLOCKS!
I have to get up at 6.15 to go to my usual Friday thing, which takes up most of my contract units for the day, finish at 12.15 - then I have ONE lesson (with fucking kids) in another branch school nearby at 16.00!

Oh great thanks for the 3 hours lunch break, what the fuck am I supposed to do for all that time?
 
Well I mean jump in at any time but I’m going to keep going.
I’m taking a ‘relaxing’ walking in the park and there are SO many crows, like dozens and dozens all threatening me.

I guess it could be a small group of them following me around
 
Eugh, my friend invited me to his birthday party tomorrow, and I was like "sure!" but he's just let me know a hateful cunt I avoid like the plague is going, so now I have to find an excuse to not go.
 
I usually find it hard to fill in a thirty minute break at work if I’m not eating lunch.
 
I've decided heathcliff has diabetes. He's not been tested but I'm neurotic. He's drinking and weeing more than usual, and my crazy brain won't even consider the fact it could be because it's so warm.

So Moopy cat owners, are yours drinking and weeing more?

Also, fudge crisis. It's not setting in this heat 😭 after I did a "our fudge doesn't melt" post on our social 🤦🏻‍♀️

My cats go through stages where it's as if they suddenly remember there's a water bowl there and they develop a real taste for it, and constantly go for it. Then after a few days they're back to seemingly dehydrating themselves.

Weeing I don't know about, they do that elsewhere (sorry neighbours).

Ooh ok. So drinking a lot for a few days isn't abnormal. I think because he's an indoor cat I watch every little thing he does and I really obsess over it. Including his wees and poos!
 
My stent is out and immediately a lot of the constant pain that accompanied it had gone. Still not fun going to the toilet but that should settle down over the next few days and it isn't as bad as it has been with the stent in plus I'm not having to urgently go whenever my bladder gets liquid in it any more so I'm calling it all good.

I can never be sure about drinking cause she goes out a lot and I know she prefers to be drinking water from puddles instead of her bowl. She pisses a lot though.
There are little glucose devices for pets you can have at home (don't know how to operate them but can't be that hard).

Yeah I'm thinking I need to get his wee and blood tested. The thought of pricking his ear to get blood does not fill me with joy. He will be a nightmare. I guess most owners wouldn't notice for weeks if their cat was drinking and weeing more, so I can leave him until after this hot weather to see if it settles.
 
Mandy and I went kayaking again today. It was so nice to get in the sea and have a cool breeze!

Having three which share water bowls and litters trays, I haven't noticed them drinking or weeing more. It's difficult to know individually, but in total there's little noticeable difference.
 
F*cks sake they're trying to close the Schools on Mon/Tues. The kids are either going to be hot at school or at home, what's the difference except a days wages lost for me if they're at home :zombie:

To be fair dont they have to legally close schools when the temperature reaches a certain threshold?

That's interesting. Most cat owners have said they are drinking more. I'm going to have to wait for the hot weather to end and then see I think. He's so miserable at the moment.
