kala - are we getting ‘full results’ of the semis or just ‘these are the songs progressing to the final’ like in Eurovision. Personally the latter works better I think so that we’re not influenced to vote AGAINST the favourites in the final. What are you planning?

Just the QUALIFIERS though I MAY give the ranking of the Non+qualifiers, but that might be a bit EVIL.
 
I entered my selection too earlier. I couldn’t decide between two until the very last minute before selecting the one I went with. Until today it was going to be the other option.
 
I submitted the required forms and links.

Oh DO IT.

Half of us aren't going to qualify so not only will we miss out on the exciting votes for our songs as in the final, but then to be lumped in with the rest like a mass execution is a total anticlimax. I'd rather face the truth of being last, or the trauma of 11th.

You should drag it out for dramatic effect, alternating the results:

"The first qualifier IS..."

Followed by:

"And in 23rd place is.."

And so on until everyone has had their moment

7 pages is too much for my goldfish attention span, but I hope we do a thread after the results revealing which act we would have chosen for each of the participating nations if any.

If Scotland is indeed a separate entry here, this is basically our first Eurovision.
 
I think I'm onto a legit HIT and if I don't come top 10 I promise that I will send children to every one of these from now on!

Pretty sure I know my song. I guess I shouldn't leave sending it to the last minute just in case it's ineligible for some reason and I have to pick again.
 
I have sent EVERYTHING (bar the bio because what an earth am I supposed to write in 50 words :D)
 
But what are you adding in? Is it some HOT FACTS about your ARTISTÉ or is it a BOAST about how you’re going to win even though you HATE THE SONG :D

Not if you just write...a bio.

I mean it's 50 words and in those 50 words you have to explain your act's link to the country so it doesn't exactly leave much room for added "fun fact: the Spanish entry invented peanut butter" (although I'm sure many will :side-eye:)
 
Though I'm very much here for entirely factual bios about how they've murdered 16 children and started their own space programs of course

I wanted to be cute with my bio but there was just NO ROOM for it.
 
I got into the FORTIES and just submitted, let’s hope FULL STOPS count.
 
I’m struggling loves to pick a song that won’t come last

The bio was just a bit of extra fun as the songs are revealed. Anyone who has submitted in the past day or so, I'll get to you eventually with a receipt response over the next day or two, am busy with actual life stuff!
