I had no idea that Deeper Love was a hit in the first place. I knew it existed obviously, just not that it was "out there" so to speak
 
These presenters are highly opinionated and I don't care for them one bit.

I was wondering why I didn't remember this Color Me Badd record, then I realised it was #6 in the US, not here! What a shite opener.
 
Ride's "Leave Them All Behind" really is the cat's tits. 8 minutes long, went straight into the top 10. Good times.
 
It's such a badly structures show - live acts cut to 3 minutes but showing videos for a full 5 or 6 minutes. What a shambles.
 
Julia Fordham had a hit in 1992? That's some Mandela Effect shit right there.
 
"It's A Fine Day" in which Edward Barton actually made some money for once. Dunno what's with the balls...
 
They showed an extended Genesis video and then ripped the piss out of it.

I guess we're entering the era of The Word and Chris Evans.
 
That is a massive fuck off crystal she's popped round her neck for the second appearance. She does look a lot happier this time, mind you.
 
When you look at it now, "Stay" seems like an unlikely no 1 in 1992. It's weird, slow, most of it doesn't have any drums and video is absolutely bizarre. 30 years later, it still sounds wonderful.
 
I had entirely forgotten about that Carter USM song but I enjoyed it.

Those TOTP presenters wished away Stay and they got... Deeply Dippy :zombie:

That I Don't Care performance WAS wonderful though. Shuv properly on one.
 
An early sighting of Celine on UK TV. The lead singer of KWS seemed to be having a lovely time.
 
Quite a lot of songs being featured at the moment of which I have no memory. The skipped episodes remain an irritation.

1992 is a bit of a grind but I'm going to catch up a bit...

Nope. The single had completely sold out of its limited run and would drop out of the top 100 immediately just like all their other 1992 singles.

I love The Wedding Present. Getting on TOTP with a song about a threesome was a bit of fun.
