Ooh Librarian Girl

I don't recognise many of those celebs and they're probably denying any involvement

As for WATERFRONT isn't this the kind of thing we were TRYING TO GET RID OF in '89

Here's GLO! But it's a BALLARD :boring:

Monie Love is all very well but when are we going to hear from ADEVA again

OH NO HERE'S the first sighting of JIVE BUNNY

"I can laugh about it now but at the time it was terrible"

This 'remix' of 'Ain't Nobody' was never worth the candle. I CAN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE KEN

Jive Bunny AS FRESH AS THE DAY IT WAS RELEASED.

Featuring racism and a plane crash.

What a LOVELY MINI BLAZER AND JUMP SUIT COMBO from OUR SON.

Absolute BANGER mind.

I’m a few weeks behind but FUCK I hate Queen and “Breakthru” really is a NADIR.

And can we please discuss Anthea Turner? Literally the most irritating person EVER.

Oh I think I might have mentioned HOW MUCH I FUCKING HATE HER ONCE OR TWICE

I’ve always disliked her but time has made me forget why. These repeats have made me realise exactly WHY.

Kirsty Maccoll is a bit sweaty there.

Yes I thought that but she was wearing quite a lot. I think it must have been a hot day as Simon Parkin looked quite sweaty later on and he was wearing shorts, as highlighted by some bizarre camera work.

Sonia's ill-matched partner's dancing being even more ridiculous than the previous week was frankly one of the only highlights.

The internet tells me it was a very hot week.

I love how Queen Eartha repeatedly throws the WHOLE BOX OF TRICKS at it. And the FUCKING KEY CHANGE! :disco:!

I have episodes expiring because 1989 was fucking terrible.

I don't remember this Transvision Vamp song at all.

Ah, The Beautiful South. For people found the Housemartins OK but would have preferred them to be intolerably smug.

My memory considered "It Is Time To Get Funky" better than it actually is. Oh well.

I'd forgotten how annoying the 'woah! yeah!' seemingly present in every dance song around this period (and lingering well into the early 90s, if memory serves) was.
