Is this the first appearance of Scott Mills?

I’m not a fan, but I suppose I did wish for a homosexual presenter last week…

I quite liked I Still Believe but leading with that and New Radicals on the second show was a bit meh. I guess they assumed Mariah would be a hit rather than a mid table hit. New Radicals had sound problems!

Mr Ozio was really just noise loved by the AREN’T WE COOL crowd.

I’ve never heard Another Level’s Holding Back The Years - I just knew this release as a re-release of Be Alone No More.

Sad we seemed to miss out on a performance by Beverley Knight given something seemed to be filmed.

Is this the first Sash! Single to not get on TOTL. Sad but understandable that System F didn’t get a showing.

Des’eee with her 178th re release of You Gotta Be. I liked her spoken bits (oh and it was a B side 37 times)

BOO that Steps, Cleopatra, Billie and friends (shade to Tina C) didn’t appear.

Oh and Phats and Small - I only found out last year it’s a vocal sample and he didn’t sing on it at all. Did we spot fake Heavenli back from her Honeyz Australian tour?

I absolutely adored "Taboo"

Poor old Shola trying to sing a lovely silky smooth chorus, and then the ridiculous Glamma Kid starts loudly SQUAWKING nonsense ad-libs all over it. "SWEETEST TAB-OOOOOOOH! IT'S GLAMMA SHOLA AMA! UH HUH! GIRL YA KNOW!"

Also sad the Honeyz were on a pre recorded performance as we were robbed of the backstage multiverse highlight that would have been Honeyz Mariama line up being backstage with Fake Heavenli who was dancing with Phats & Small again

Perfect Moment is okay in a way, but it truly is utterly boring overall, and the fact it was a multi-week number one really was appalling! Obviously based on name alone, hence it couldn’t chart outside of the UK/Ireland at all.
 
It's funny seeing Scott Mills so young

And he was even younger when we used to see him down Queenshilling back when he was on GWR FM when I was first out on the scene :disco:

This is actually been a longstanding belief on moopy, which is the first place I heard about it. I had never made the connection before, but now I can't listen to the Texas track without thinking of Creep.
 
The chorus to this 1000 Clowns song still pops into my head on a semi regular basis despite being a) long forgotten & b) rubbish.
