Olives do seem to be the most MARMITE food stuff these days. Astonishingly this at least the 4th topic about them on Moopy, but is has been 7 years, so I'm ok with that.
I totally get this. I feel it always separates those with a more developed taste in food to those who... well I don't know what people who don't eat olives eat.I'm always amazed by adults who DON'T like them. To me an appreciation of olives is not so much of an acquired taste but more a rite of passage.
But then aren't we all.Obviously they're best STUFFED with something amazing.

No BASIL or even Rosemary?I don't think I even knew what one was until I was a teenager.
Same for herbs and spices, really. The only herb I was aware of was mint, and the only spice was pepper. And that was white and powdered.

I've never noticed a difference. Have I even had anything other than jarred ones?Olives from a jar are the worst though. Only good for cooking.
