I see they have those nasty Rollover hotdogs in that photo, for shame! The customers want their traditional Pumpkin disappointment sausages and they want them NOW.

I'm outraged. A cup of hot water on it's own is £2. A WHOLE £2 FOR HOT WATER. A CUP OF TEA IS ONLY 10p MORE THAN THAT. Not to mention when I said I wasn't prepared to pay that much, they still poured it and charged me anyway. OUTRAGE. If you're wondering why I only ordered hot water, it's because I carry my own teabags with me... Why you may ask? It's because at every other flippin coffee establishment I've been to- including other pumpkin cafés- a cup of hot water is 20p, meaning my tea is cheaper. Even Starbucks, which is a massive rip
off in other ways allows this. BUT PUMPKIN HAS ITS HEAD SO FAR UP ITS OWN *** THAT IT THINKS ITS GODLY HOT WATER IS WORTH TWO WHOLE POUNDS. I'm genuinely furious. Never again. DONT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH AND TIME WITH THEIR RUDE, INCONSIDERATE STAFF AND OVERPRICED WATER.

I paid for a coffee with a £10 note, and was gicen change for £5. When I queried this the man serving me got extremely rude anc abusive, claiming that I was accusing him if theft. He aggressively demanded that his colleague check the till, which was up a few pounds.
He was incredibly rude and aggressive and I can see from other reviews rhat this is not the first time this has happened. I'm physically shaking writing this.
I've lost £5 because of this
 
All these tempting treats and high praise reviews are rendering me desperate for a Saturday night out at PUMPKIN :disco: but the only ones currently open “near me” are Tottenham Hale and READING
 
I want to go on a UK Pumpkin tour and compare notes

I can confirm that I have been to at least 3 Pumpkin Cafes.

I think top of my list to visit has to be the Royal Berkshire Hospital one. I hope that rubbish cage in the corner is still there and the lighting is just as atmospheric when I go.

This one in Havant sells (very overpriced) alcohol but the guy was really cute and I was 50% sure he was flirting with me.
 
Meal Deal no ingredients on products
So I visited this overly expensive cafe today. I was going to go for the meal deal which was cheaper. However I found that there was no ingredients what so ever on the products that were on the meal deal. I did question this with the staff, whom were helpful but seemed to have little understanding of allergies. Such as mention a nut allergy and watch as people look away in confusion. I mean 1995 was bad when mentioning about Nut allergies. But 2020, we have the internet we have more knowledge a d understanding of allergies and and food intolerances and yet (Pumkin) decide to sell products without any allergy details.
So thank you Pumpkin, I won't be buying anything from you again out of principle for your ignorance to serious allergies.
Nuts do kill.
