Quite warm Wednesday

Mostly being a big ol' tourist and also being a bit of a hipster and going to the boroughs. I've not really planned anything in advance, although I do want to go to Coney Island.

You cannot go all the way to NYC and do Coney Island  unless you're some sort of fairground / rollercoaster nerd and need to tick it off your list, in which case, I accept.

Have you been to NYC before? It's like my second third home. I'd recommend you a load of bars and restaurants but it's been 4 years since I was last there and it's probably all changed.

I didn't go to Coney Island and do kind of regret it. Still, NYC isn't the really the kind of place you can go to once for 10 days and think you're going to see everything, is it?

I've still not seen everything! It's impossible. And it evolves so quickly. I do think it's important to do all the tourist things on your first go around. And then go again, and do none of them, and see the real New York. Both ways are incredible but you only need to do the tourist things once. I guess London is the same.
