RANDOM THINGS YOU HATE (1 Viewer)

If I want a burger I’m quite happy with CHEAP AND GROTTY. Burgers aren’t upmarket to begin with! So Five Guys can suck it
If you want a NICE burger, make it at home! I can't understand people paying restaurant food prices for burgers AT ALL.

We have those here also, but if depends on where you are.

Sometimes its a tub, sometimes a pump, sometimes a sachet!
We have both at my local one

They can’t give you enough ketchup!

I get such bad anxiety in that 3 seconds where the machine decides whether it will print me a ticket or not.
I don’t think the one at Junction 29A services has worked EVER so just have to REMEMBER your number.

Those tiny containers annoy me for some reason - too DINKY - but YES!
If you're up for a bit of careful ripping and a slight loss of public dignity, do I have the handy tip for YOU:

Is it just me who finds eating McD’s at home to NOT QUITE WORK? Eating it off a plate seems wrong and I’m not putting a greasy bag on my lovely table (although I do have placemats). Obviously I have tried both approaches for research purposes :)

Yes I don’t understand people getting McDonalds on Deliveroo, it becomes inedible about 3 minutes after being “cooked”.

Actually life hack 3, bring your own sandwiches to the airport! They don't confiscate them going through security and anything you make is bound to be better than the JAMES MARTIN KITCHEN or whatever they have :tongueout:

Not to mention the horrible smell it leaves in the house.

I think taking one’s own sandwiches to an airport or on a train journey is a BIT SILLY. It’s an ideal opportunity to sample the exquisite savouries dished up by much-loved high end outlets on the terminal concourse!

An even better life hack is to eat at home before travelling because those airport prices are insane.

That's also a good option! The AIRPORT TAX on everything is actually a good one for this topic in general, why should WHSmith (sorry RS I know you like them) charge an extra £2 for a bottle of water?

Get a LOAN! Life’s rich tapestry takes a battering in the absence of luxuries from Delice du la France
I'm currently enjoying a very expensive spread from "Costa Coffee" I think they're called so maybe you have a point :o

Being ripped off for shit is part of the LUXURY EXPERIENCE! I bet Joan Collins doesn’t cobble something together with HOVIS to pop in her glamour satchel when heading to Monaco
I actually bet she DOES and that's how she's still so rich :disco:

Why is there a special tax? I always thought they took the advantage of us not allowed to bring in liquids.
