also having not watched the season, the extended section about “The Cookie Lady” was just an utterly bizarre watch :D Regardless I was, as ever, team Kenya :disco:
 
Watching season 6, Kenya is psychotic. The way she plays with Apollo and the whole charity to honor Nene when they were feuding. She’s such a villain.
 
I need to watch season 6! I'm currently devouring season 9, and the way they copy and paste Marlo in as Sheree's "friend" almost entirely so she can ask Kandi "ARE YOU A LESBIAN?" when they go camping is too much :D

The Phaedra return (as friend of) rumblings aren't going away -
 
I’m sure Phaedra is responsible for this rumble.
 
Those Phaedra return rumours remain as fishy as the alleged conception date of her first child with Apollo.

"Lawyer" Parks would add some fuel to the next season but I can't see Kandi filming a single scene with her. And it's not like she left on great terms with Kenya, Cynthia and who knows with Porsha.
 
I do think there'll be a big clear out in Atlanta before next season though. Nene will be fired, and so Marlo will be out too, by association. If Cynthia doesn't leave of her own accord, then she'll surely be fired after contributing nothing to this reunion. Tanya seems to have run her course, as well.

That leaves Kenya, Porsha, Kandi and I do think they'll give Eva another shot to see what she can deliver in a season where she's not pregnant.

So there is room for Phaedra to appear as a 'friend of' to Porsha at the very least. Kandi may well say that if Phaedra is back then she's out but I think that producers would be wise to call her bluff. Kandi has a lot going on in her life, that's true, but a lot of it does depend on her being a series regular. So I don't think she'd throw it all away like that.

For one of the two full-time slots I say bring back Claudia Jordan. How she only got a one season run after everything she delivered during that one season was shocking. She's perfect for this show.
 
Oh Cynthia has completely zoned out of all of this and as you said, I can't even see her returning by choice at this point. Even with snake gate (:zombie:) she's been an absolute on-screen vacuum this season and she only seems to getting involved for 5 minutes in the last reunion episode to "rip" on Nene now that she's AWOL.

I'm fully behind a return of Claudia but they also need to put another woman or two on Porsha's side. Kenya-Eva-Claudia(-Kandi, if Phaedra is involved) would be quite "lop-sided" otherwise.
 
If Cynthia leaves it will be her choice, she’s been the same since she started the show. Her role was never to be the instigator and production loves her.

I believe Claudia Jordan is a TERF so no thanks to that.

They might bump up Tanya for next season. I’m sure Porsha is pushing hard for a new bff. I hope they get rid of NeNe, she brings the show down, they can come up with someone new.

Kandi is about to get another bump to her profile since she’s probably going to win the masked singer tomorrow (NayNay is going to die if that happens). Also is that spin off happening?
 
I think there’s going to be a financial side to the next season too, especially after c-19.

Kenya, Eve and Marlo cost less then 1 million combined, whereas Kandi and NeNe cost over 4 million combined.

I can’t see them getting rid of Kandi, and I think she’s savvy enough to realise a Phaedra return (obviously as a villain) has potential to work in her favour.

I’ve seen a few calls for Sheree to return, and she’s apparently a fan favourite. But apart from MORE “who’s gonna check me boo” and Chateau Sheree I’m not sure what else she’d bring - where does her money even come from :D
 
I would love for Sheree to come back, but really she always worked best in the early seasons when she was deluded about how rich she was and how high up in Atlanta society she was perceived.

It just didn't work in her second run, as she couldn't come out with any of that talk, as everyone knew her financial situation was what it was.

I think the only way a Sheree return would work would be as a friend-of to a Kim Zolciak return. Which I would not be against in the slightest.
 
Kim is a terrible housewife, she doesn’t shoot properly and has no connection to anyone. That season when she returned was the worst.
 
Kyle is clearly getting paranoid that she's 'the target' this season and is working herself into a frenzy - malfunctioning, dropping the facade, and revealing herself to be the mean girl she's been trying to keep a lid on since season 1. I love this journey for her.
 
Side note: during this episode I kept thinking of a possible ultimatum that producers may have given some of the women at the end of last season if they wanted to be kept on for any more.

Erika: film with your husband occasionally please
Dorit: be open about your legal/financial troubles please
Lisa: start shit-stirring again please
Kyle: stop being so terrified of arguements please

Whatever they told Teddi, however, it's clearly fallen on deaf ears :zombie:

Garcelle’s scene with her friends felt like it had potential for a series of its own tbh
 
That was a good New York episode, the spa was ridiculous :D it was like something out of Eastern Promises.

Elyse is like a dark spirit that’s haunting the show, she’s trying so hard but she just doesn’t fit.
 
Elyse really is horrible. She’s no Babs that’s for sure!

Oh to have been Ramona’s neighbours when her and Dorinda were going at it in the hallway :D

Thankfully RHONY can always rely on moments like these, because so far, this season isn't offering up anything of a storyline other than Dorinda is not doing well and Sonja and Lea are messy drunks.
 
OMG WHO is Yovanna, and WHY is she not a full-time Housewife :D
She's CLEARLY a treacherous snake that will stop at nothing to cause drama and snatch a peach :disco:

Her ridiculous reunion section was the most entertaining part by far :D
She also gives me MAD PHAEDRA vibes, which is clearly a good thing minus the drug/rape/sex dungeon MESS

In related news, Tanya seems boring as hell :bruised: and I lived for Kenya's final reckoning: "Thanks Kandi, Eva and Cynthia. You're such good friends and I love you all :)" whilst Porsha looks on :D
 
She might have carried this reunion in large parts but naturally less than smart Porsha becomes Nene's mouthpiece as soon as the latter bails.

The entire Yovanna section amounted to NOTHING other than messy boots - much like the entire "storyline" about the snake. What a predictable waste of time for 7 minutes of engagement from Cynthia. :boring:
 
Problematic Andy hates her so much. He always goes in on her. It's quite amusing how he doesn't even try to hide it anymore. :D

it’s hard to root for Kenya, even on season 6 when Porsha dragged her physically everyone went to Porsha. There’s something to be said about someone everyone dislikes.
 
I really loved the reunion and I like the core 5 without Nay Nay. Also Kandi handling Yovanna like the snake she is was a highlight for me.

She fell flat this season, but that was cos she acting as a prop for a Nene storyline. She definitely has it in her when she's less 'produced'.

The reaction online seems to be universally negative about Yovanna becoming a HW :D

Perhaps it’s more of a British thing to be a fan of the mess..? Tamra and Vicki seemed to get more support from British fans too, not because they were good people but because they made good/chaotic TV
 
OMG at the wine tasting edit on this week’s BH, cutting to BORING TEDDI sat stuffing her face with a glass of sparkling water every time the others took a sip :D

Have they stopped doing solo Teddi scenes altogether now, or have I just SLEPT THROUGH THEM!
 
Why does Sutton always look startled/like a bird about to fly/on the edge of hysteria/she’s just slapped?

I found this episode exhausting, just come out and say what you want to say. It’s all very passive aggressive and over nothing.

Oh for sure! I zoned out a few times and realised quite quickly I had no idea what they were actually arguing about, and nor did they :D

Are they STILL going on about them talking about sex at a dinner party WEEKS PREVIOUS :eyes:

Garcelle also seems to be on a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SHOW for the second week running :D
