Has that happened before in your time there?
I've never been sure of what the right word is for heavy snow. Like, when it's raining heavily, we'll say it pissing it down, throwing it down, sheeting it etc but the only word I've ever come across that seemed adequate for show was "thumping".

I must say they're my major concern and it is baby season, just to make it worse.
