Yes not quite sure what the shit prize was about. The overall winner doesn't even get £££.
 
Going by the trailer for next week it seems Davina is the season's bitch.
 
To be fair to Gothy, I do feel that her dead behind the eyes anti-routine was more authentic to Dua Lipa’s actual performing style so I’m going to generously chalk it up as a misunderstood HOMAGE...

The tea is there IS a cash prize but they can’t promote it.

I mean you can’t put a price on the £££s of revenue from a Gothy M&G anyway.

I suddenly have nostalgia for the days when a chest of drawers, cutlery set or a record player were considered star prizes.
 
I'm really interested to see what next week brings, because I think Vinegar is going to bring it as it's an acting challenge. There's not really an obvious weak link.
 
I'm actually preferring this to the US one by a long way so far... It feels a lot more true to life with them all effing and blinding.

Poor Gothy Kendoll was canon fodder. Both of her looks were shit, and she's supposed to be a look queen.

I like Cheryl Hole, Sum Ting Wong and Blu Hydrangea best so far. Also Crystal is fit as a boy.
 
It’s been annoying me who Cheryl looks like as a boy - it’s Divine as a boy!
 
:D Alan Carr and Graham Norton really are fabulous choices for this. I thought the latter was fantastic on the US show. Actually there was a nice interview with them in The Guardian at the weekend
 
Jesus Christ, they’re all rough as fuck. I hated them all :D
 
RPDR UK S1 E1 HALF-ARSED SORT OF RATE

:disco: award: Sum Ting Wong and Scaredy Kat (the latter of whom I rather like, deathly pallor and all)
:horny: out of drag award: Vinegar Strokes OBVIOUSLY, although I don’t see her lasting very long at this rate
:zombie: award: Divina De Campo. REALLY NOT KEEN
:wired: award: The Vivienne. Obviously Pete Burns was a highlight and there’s a very generous soupçon de :disco: going on here but the stretched FACE! The EYEBROWS! :shock:
 
Vinegar’s pearls were orange by the end of the lip sync. :D:gross:
 
Sum Ting was should have won, but The Vivienne seems to be on a different level from the rest.
 
This was absolutely fabulous.

I loved the Pete Burns homage so much but Sum Tings stamp really is all that people will be talking about. It was a brilliant concept. And deserved the win.

Scaredy Kat was much better than i thought she would be as well. I sort of get the impression she is underselling herself a bit.
 
It felt like such a celebration. I really, really loved it.
 
I thought Blu was robbed of a top 3 place - that coin look was excellent

This was fine, maybe the format is just dead for me but it wasn’t that much different than the US version. Which doesn’t make it bad just more of the same that we’ll be getting for the next six months.

Vinegar was such a wreck, that yellow shiny ill fitting dress and those wigs were terrible. Got by is iconic because of how awful she was, so dead that she transcended her awfulness.

I was glad that Som Ting turned out to be stronger than her promo suggested and her looks were great.

Alan Carr was the best, I really hated Andrew’s outfit and that ring.

Scardy Cat was a great surprise! Great concepts.
 
Cheryl Hole, Crystal and Baga Chipz are my faves.

Crystal as a boy is so cute!

Divina probably thinks her laugh is 'unique'.
 
Gothy is everything. A look queen indeed.

I'm rooting for Blu obviously but the Vivienne absolutely deserved to win.

Also, Andrew Garfield was the best thing about the panel.

Turns out you get 30 days free trial and then if you choose to continue you only pay 4-5€ per month. So it’s basically free. Don’t know why I haven’t thought about it before. You get good quality and don’t need to search for links.

Oh and it has subtitles, which is rather necessary for this season. I could barely understand what some of these queens said.

Yes the coin was marvellous. Suffered slightly coming directly after the stamp, I think. But definitely ticked the right boxes for creativity.
 
Also, I can’t get over the state of some of them. Horrible teeth too!

That is pretty much the concept of British drag. It originated from a completely different place then American drag. It’s all about the personality. Instagram queens don’t really work here.
