Oh, I also loved the flashback to Merle Ginsberg, 72. I miss her: she's not as good as Michelle, but so much better than AIDS survivor Santonio.
 
I must be watching a different programme. :D I thought the Raven/Jujubee sing off was fucking STUPID and RUBBISH (despite the fact they are my favourite two, I thought they were both completely overdramatising) *heartless*

My highlight is seeing Michelle Visage grow a stone every week for every stone that Santino loses.

I agree. But I always hate that kind of shit sentiment in any competition. JUST GO FOR IT GUYS. There's no shame in wanting to beat people, even your friends.

Life's a competition.
 
Raven was robbed :evil: her routine was hilarious. She's done it before on her show where it was more of a monologue right after her stint in jail. Chad was ok but meh.
 
I was so shocked when the cut Juju.

Chad totally does embody everything about being a true queen full of class but it should've been Raven. She looked AMAZING in the final.

Still agog at what Shannel was wearing. Serving Sebastian the crab realness.

Beth Ditto was lovely.

Juju lost it in the interview and her look was a bit too girl next door, Shannel never stood a chance and she knew it.
 
I hate to say it, but Juju was a bit of a mess at times and the interview didn't go in her favour :(

HOWEVER :evil: Raven should've totally walked it, she nailed every single part of the challenge! That's the second time Ru's robbed her!
 
Wow... :o Just watched it and I am shocked!! I read a 'spoiler' on Facebook from someone saying that it had leaked 2 months ago that Raven won, so I was convinced I'd ruined it for myself! So for that reason and that reason alone I'm pleased Chad won (actually think Raven was a more deserving winner, especially in that final lip-synch). But I do like Chad a lot and was really happy for anyone to win other than Shannel. So overall a pleasing series.
 
God bless Shannel, she became hugely entertaining, but just not the way she ever intended. She seemed to relax as the series went on so maybe will start to embrace it more. Her comedy routine wasn't nearly as bad as I had been hoping it would be.

Raven won every category, so of course she lost. Okay, in the interview she swore, but no one really shone there. I think it was basically a lifetime achievement award for Chad with her "grandma's back on the game" catwalk catsuit. Loved Raven's stand up. It was almost as good as Shangela's "they say Shangela, I say WHAT?"

Flying these drag queens over from the US can't be cheap. I'd say something about not being sure how he keeps afloat, but I don't want to make any fat jokes.

This is probably the worst thing eve.
 
There are some very interesting queens there. In general they are better looking than last year, but well season 4 wasn't exactly a visual pleasure either.
 
Despite a pain in the ass on my facebook posting updates about this season as if he's got the inside scoop, I've stayed away from all the previews and can't wait. I don't even know who the special guests are so please put them in spoilers unless the episode has actually aired.
 
I watched the intros the other day and there are a few deer in headlights queens. My five second favorites are Jade Jolie, Jinx Monsoon and Detox.
 
I've seen the ages, and they seem fairly young. I really hope self-harmer Alaska goes week 1 :D

"Alaska, don't cut yourself up about it" etc.
