Another good episode.

I loved Crystal's look and was a bit gutted that she didn't get the challenge win, but it was hard to argue against Jaida here who was also great. As was Sherry. Any of them could have won.

Gigi was fine but the bottom two was kind of obvious as soon as we saw the six of them. The lip sync was GREAT and in the back of my head I was thinking double save, but thought they were probably reserving it for Gigi, Sherry or Jaida.

Jackie really is having a Cracker-ish run so far, but she's a lot more natural and at ease with herself and I hope she pulls through in the comedy challenge next week.

Preference ranking
1. Crystal
2. Jaida
3. Jackie
4. Heidi
5. Gigi
6. Sherry

How I think it will go:
Top four: Gigi, Jaida, Crystal, Jackie (replaces Sherry)

With Heidi just missing out. But it could be her or Jackie really.

Agree with everything above; a great episode again and I was so happy for Crystal doing so well and not having to worry about her leaving. I really thought she should have won. The looks was like nothing ever seen on the runway before and they had good chemistry.

Sherry was second best; the family resemblence was probably the best ever on this challenge, but this is again same thing we’ve seen from Sherry in every episode.

Jaeda was only third best, I don’t really think she deserved to win.

The double save was obvious and well deserved. I do prefer Jackie out of drag though, her looks are almost always messy.

01. Crystal
02. Gigi
03. Heidi
04. Jaeda
05. Sherry
06. Jackie

Great episode. This season really is my favourite for a LONG time.

Having said that, I do not understand the Jaida win AT ALL. I thought she was third. Crystal was outstanding, but Sherry deserved the win- Janet looked like a proper drag queen and actually LOOKED like Sherry to the point when they first walked out I wasn't sure who was who. Shame Heidi had no resemblance as I thought she looked amazing in that outfit- basically a Diana Ross tribute act.

Saw the double save coming from the minute they announced the bottom two, but the actual lip sync made it easy- it was very good from both of them. Glad both are still in the competition.

It's so hard. I love all of them left a LOT (well, Sherry's very good rather than loving HER as I haven't seen enough to know what she's actually like). In terms of how they're doing, it's really up in the air too- I thought Gigi was an obvious winner a few episodes ago but far from it now.

HOW THEY'RE DOING RANK:

1. Jaida
2. Crystal
3. (Sherry)
4. Gigi
5. Heidi
6. Jackie

HOW MUCH I LOVE THEM AS PEOPLE RANK

1. Heidi
2. Jackie
3. Jaida
4. Crystal
5. Gigi
?. Sherry

And when will the queens learn that by family resemblence the judges expect you to look like identical twins and wear the same fabric?

I loved the "Diana and Donna" concept but it just wasn't obvious enough to work on the stage.

I guess whether Gigi or Jaeda wins this season, the true winners will always be Heidi and Crystal. I just love them, they’re adorable.

I have decided Jackie is the best looking queen ever out of drag, topping (HA AS IF!) Milk. I want to do TERRIBLE things to him.

I thought Heidi's relationship with her superfan in the workroom was really sweet, and I was so disappointed when she turned the corner in that basic dress. I hate to say it, but I wonder if the girl's size was a problem? Given Sherry's the only 'big girl' remaining, and she's a lot smaller than Heidi's partner, I can well imagine poor Heidi just had nothing to hand.

Crystal was utterly robbed this week, though Jaida was gorgeous as ever. Gigi rapidly sinking into the mire - is it just me or has she kind of lost her spark?

Sherry's transformation was uncanny. Really well done. Though I instantly felt for her partner - doomed to be edited out by association! :D

And yes, Jackie is essentially a likable version of Mizz Cracker without the awful constant moaning.

I think it was the elephant in the room during the judges' critiques. Heidi was clearly trying to be nice about things and the fact she had to borrow the dress said it all.

I dropped everything and went through the whole list of all queens of drag race and while Jackie is handsome, and Milk too, they’re both rather unsexy... my toplist of wanting to do terrible things to them would be:

01. PhiPhi
02. Rock M Sakura
03. Aquaria
04. Adore
05. Pearl (when she was younger)

Oh god, I think Milk is PROPERLY sexy. And Jackie isn't particularly, but you know you could spike his drink and keep him tied up for weeks on end until he is DESTROYED.

As for your list, well, just NO! PhiPhi and Pearl are both very fuckable, true, but ROCK? :D

Just imagine Jackie doing that intense face from his lip sync during sex.

Rock with those thighs on the other hand... :horny:

That was definitely my favourite episode of the season so far, and probably in a long time. The girls each brought such a nice energy to the show, and they all brought out the best in the queens, too. The whole episode just gave off a really fun vibe.

There was nothing in it amongst the top three - they all deserved the win. Sherry gave us a mirror image of herself, Crystal gave us something else entirely, but I'm glad Jaida got the win. She could have played saboteur with the pairings, as queens have done in the past, but she somehow gave each queen their perfect partner and allowed everyone their best shot to shine.

It was the perfect episode of RuPaul's Best Friend Race, really.

I LOVED that episode, probably the best makeover challenge they did. I agree the fans were a great idea, having people who really WANTED to be there and live their fantasy was a nice touch, and all 6 fans I thought were great.

As for the queens, there was definitely a top 3 and a bottom 3, but I would have given the win to Crystal as I thought it was totally out of the box and original and a total WOW moment. Sherry was second, and the closest family resemblance, though I think she had the girl with the closest resemblance to begin with anyway, and it was great, but nothing new. Jaida I would have had third, great outfits but I thought the girl she had was not so confident on stage, though it's good that the show doesn't use that against them. I liked them, but I didn't LOVE them.

As for the bottom 3, Gigi's was the best but it was very simple and safe. She has been going downhill a bit, and the fact her MOTHER makes most of the outfits anyway is kinda making me less impressed with her. I wonder if she has peaked too early.

The two disco pairings at the bottom were not a surprise, though I think Jackie was a little better than Heidi. The lip sync was the best we have had all season and I had a feeling we'd be getting a double shantay half way through.

I still think though that Jackie and Heidi will be next to go leaving us with a top 4 of Gigi, Sherry, Jaida and Crystal. I do wonder what they would do in that situation. They still haven't filmed the finale as far as I know, so would they have a top 3 or bring the 5th placed queen back to replace Sherry?

I thought it was a boring episode, also Crystal was robbed. Jaida was great but to not award the genius of Crystal shows how limited the judging is/has become.

Bizarrely, the episode felt LONG for me as well. And Crystal should have won indeed. I mean both Jaida and Sherry executed the challenge very well (and I actually think Sherry was better) but there was nothing new or exciting there.

The DOUBLE SAVE was just TOO MUCH!

Best makeover episode EVER. That was surely a Crystal win though...

I normally don’t like the make over challenge, they’re usually a bit of a downer, but this really was a feel good episode.

Super fans are instantly going to be better than squaddies or awkward family members. They know the show.

I also think it was nice that Janet the Planet got some screen time, she deserved that, as it was not her fault that she got paired with Sherry.

My first reaction was "oh goody, gay men helping straights with their esteem again" as I'd always much prefer makeover shows showing gay men help each other, but whatever, it turned out to be a decent episode.

Janet was great and I actually thought she ("they" who?) was the winner. It's the closest resemblance we've ever had in my opinion.

Crystal really got a pass (not from being in the bottom, those 2 were correct, but the praise I'm just not getting at this point, but kudos for no silk fabric I guess). The execution is very amateurish to say the least.

Loved Heidi's lip sync, didn't know what the hell Jackie thought she was doing the whole way through that was fine for maybe the beginning only. I guess they want her for the stand up challenge.

There was actually a bit of chat about this on Twitter earlier in the week, with Aquaria among others calling out certain gay men being misogynistic with their hot takes about 'straight women' after the episode preview came out (spoilers - some of the superfans were queer women).

I'm just thinking how cliched it is to have gay fashion and make up experts focus on self esteem of women. How refreshing it would be to have gay men's esteem be a focus. I don't think that is being misogynist.

I was thinking the same. Not so much that I'd rather have gay men per se, but that it's nice to see queer representation irrespective of gender. But the inclusion of Janet was nice, in that they may not identify as queer (or maybe she does), but she's someone who has had a relationship with drag since before drag race and finds real worth in it beyond the TV show.

I thought they all came off well and it was a much better episode than, say, the one with the grooms in Season 6 or the athletes in Season 3. I think 'Let's transform straight men and congratulate them for being tolerant' is much more of a cliché.

Like RS said, the makeover episodes can be a bit of a comedown, but this was top quality. Like the one with the production crew or the even the social media one.

It wasn't quite up there with the one with the Judy Garland's murderer but still.

Exactly, they were all wonderful and I even said it turned out to be enjoyable anyway.
