Well this sucks, you could see it coming from a mile but it still sucks. Also Tamisha won that lipsync, Kandy was horrible and looked a mess. I felt bad for Tamisha just because you could tell she wasn’t in her prime and I understand why they would keep Kandy over her but it still sucks.

Also really getting tired of that clique, Gottmik with that annoying California accent that’s always dragging every word and Tina on the sideline making faces covered in red and yellow (is her whole wardrobe the same three colors :manson:).

Loving everyone else just because I dislike these three so much.

Symone looked gorgeous, Lala was busted as usual but that face and personality saved her, Rosé is growing on me, Denali feels like she’s fading. I thought Olivia’s runway was so underwhelming, I would have given the win to Elliott.

I guess they wanted to have Utika in the bottom for being too kooky but I loved her runway.

UGH. What a load of absolute crap. Kandy's lip sync was actively terrible.

I really hate this aspect of the show.

Much as I'm sick of Ru expecting a bunch of 21-35 year olds to have an intricate knowledge of pop culture from decades before they were born, Kandy's dismissive "Uh... she's DEAD?" about Donna Summer was just the worst. What a graceless, classless, basic bitch.

At least Tamisha went out with total dignity, on a lip sync she 100% won.

I watched this with 3 friends last night (all gay men) and 2 of them didn't know who Donna Summer is! I was really surprised by that

In my old job, only 2 people had heard of I Feel Love. One was a DJ and the other was really into her music, like Moopy levels.

Although I think there was only one other gay and he was a Leona Lewis stan and it showed.

I was bored by this episode. And it really sucks that Tamisha had to leave. Was really wishing Ru would send Kandy home.

Really hate all three of the mean girls. How awful that they’d call themselves that.

As annoying as Eliott can be, I’m actually enjoying her fashion the most.

Rosé’s runway looks have been underwhelming, but I’m sure her time to shine is yet to happen.

I actually didn't mind the challenge, but they could have done more with the disco stuff. They didn't really get much chance to DO anything.

It's sad to see Tamisha go, but realistically she wasn't going to make it much further as lovely and dignified as she is. The outfits were often way too simple and she was so-so in most tasks. However I felt she was hard done by this week - her disco outfit was STUNNING ironically, which I don't think got a mention at all, and the hula hoop bullshit was something else. It felt like she technically had the hardest thing to master there in some respects. By all means she understandably doesn't want to be seen as being given a free pass, but the bunch of mean girls (:manson:) group didn't have much to do except faff around a bit on stage. I would say she won the lip sync too, but can see why they gave it to Kandy (Also why wasn't it a disco song?!?!)

Also the FACES on Rosé and Denali :D I don't mind them, but they were the first pair who came out looking utterly busted in the disco segment, fully expecting to win based on dance moves that, in the end, were underwhelming anyway. Rosé continuing the trend of terrible runways, looking like a square frilly cushion is really not it.

Olivia, fine, crap runway but she absolutely was the most joyous in the task. It's a bit like Priyanka where likeability can override any shortcomings.

I think Utica was lucky not to be bottom two, and suspect she avoided it because they wanted to keep her and Kandy for a bit longer. She was definitely OFF in the disco routine, and I think they're right to call out the exaggerated facial expressions and camp bendiness she does for not always being appropriate. Loved her runway but the criticism wasn't unfair either.

Symone had a quiet week but once again I felt she won the runway.

Surely Tamisha is a given for Allstars - I thought this before she made the joke, but for once it really would be deserved and fair.

Tamisha was probably my favourite on this season. What a legend.

I found this episode quite difficult to watch just because I don't enjoy watching Kandy Muse very much. So irritating. I imagine her clique are in it for the long haul but I don't really like any of them...

Olivia and Uticca to win!

Kandy really has nothing to offer the show, but Tamisha has loads. Did they really not know about her ostomy bag? They could've given her some lighter choreo...

And Kandy totally lost the lipsync. She was opening her mouth so damn big the words were getting lost in them.

As much as I like Tamisha, she didn’t have much to offer. She looked uncomfortable whenever she was performing and yes Kandy is awful but she’s a lot more drama.

Tina Burner and Kandy Muse look EXACTLY like the kind of corny gays who would declare themselves as "Mean Girls" :D

I'm realising La La Ri is such great value despite being DIABOLICAL in most runways and some challenges.

The more Drag Race rumbles on, the more I'm happy for incredibly likeable but useless queens to stay in over horrid little cunts.

Is Mik just teaming up with the two most busted ones to make himself look cuter?!? I don’t get why they’re friends!

She looked a bit :eyes: when they called themselves ‘mean girls’ so fuck knows why she’s teaming up with them.

Kandy Muse displays all of the key traits of a hoodrat. Without a shred of talent to top it off.

Glad Utica stayed, but she better bring it.

This complete disaster mixed with a lovely personality is enough for me to want more (I'm aware I was probably calling for her head last week, but times have changed! Especially with that questionable little trio and several other average queens)

Does Rock say My Heart Will Go On is her favourite disco song?

That was awful, but yes thinking about it, expecting there to be an intricate knowledge of disco from 40-50 years ago seems unrealistic from so many young queens. I mean even Tamisha would have been an actual child when disco was in its prime.

That said...no one even throwing out an obvious basic answer was a bit eye-roll. Just any of the well known classics would do..

Olivia's dress was hideous but god, has there ever been a more lovable queen?

Literally had forgotten who she was until about 15 minutes into this episode. She seems nice, but until this episode she's felt utterly forgettable.

Mik really is the queen who is most ill-served by this 'mean girls' clique. Kandy is dreadful anyway and Tina has literally nothing else of interest to give, but Mik is consistently scoring well and has an interesting back story, it's such a disappointment that they seem desperate to suck up to the other two in order to feel accepted.

I thought the lack of basic knowledge about disco was embarrassing to be honest. I know we are not the norm, but most of us weren't born in disco either, but we just KNOW THE BASICS.

Overall a really rubbish episode where the only thing of any interest that happened was the drama between Kandy and Tamisha and that was spoiled by the one we are all rooting for from that pair being eliminated. Though with poise and dignity and humility that Kandy could never muster up.

I was just gonna say this. It's all about acceptance I bet. And those groups are the ones that people who have been through the most gravitate to, because they have fear of not being in that group. The sooner one of the three goes the better - probably Tina first tbh as much as I'd love it to be Kandy.

Well, that was an episode that happened :) I'm more a bit blah because the challenge was such a non-event, we've had the same type of challenge there but it's been a rusical, or even a live-vocalled one, but this time they were just doing fairly ordinary choreo and that's all? OK
After being spoiled by Youtube THRUSTING the result in my face immediately, I didn't feel much drama, and to be completely honest, I don't feel THAT much about the result. They probably were my bottom 2 of the week, and while Tamisha does get respect for her career, in the actual SHOW I haven't been especially blown away. For the lip sync, I didn't feel there was an outright winner, neither of them really did much for me. It was OK too, I'd probably have given it to Kandy despite my feelings for her.

1) Olivia - Yeah, agreed with everything said so far, she's radiant and positive, love her. That blonde disco hair was life too.

2) Denali - Still serving it, I liked her spider runway. She's not especially funny with her deadpan confessionals, but she's still got that good Tati energy for me. I loved that seemingly unintentional shade of "Rose and I are on similar levels" delivered like "I mean she's no ME but she's good"

3) Symone - it’s hard to start hard like that, she’s middle of the pack at the moment, hoping she has a chance for another serve soon. Love that sculptural hair on the runway though.

4) Elliott - Creeping back up in my estimations, her moves are always surprisingly good (because I forget she's had training). Most people had boring runways this week so I'll give her a pass.

5) Rose - "I'm amazed people think I'm a perfectionist". Also Rose: "I can't believe I'm not top, I was amazing" :D big Shannel energy but a lot more likable for me. Getting a bit tired of her taking an outfit and making a weird 2D extension to her silhouette with toile (twice) or bagpipes (!), this week was the worst, she looked like a grey Pop Tart.

6) Utica - Yeah I like her ideas, but like they said last week, the gurning is getting a bit much. Kooky is fine as long as it's not the same kind of kooky every time.

7) LalaRi - really should have gone last week but meh, her runway this week was busted too, but the disco was good, outshining Symone I think. Still only understand half of what she says

8) Tina Burner - I have to give props, that dance outfit was a serve this week. But the runway was a bit meh, maybe I wouldn't mind the colour identity thing if it wasn't such a gross combination.

9) GottMik - I'm glad Mik has confidently transitioned into the most basic Cali gay, respect and everything. But I just can't stand the confessionals any more, and the YUK of calling themselves the Mean Girls. It's like Rolaskatox again, and they are NO Rolaskatox. Also I hate pasties (the nipple covers, I mean). She was mugging away during the disco as much as Utica too, totally escaped for that limp noodle disco.

10) Kandy Muse - Yeah, here we are. Just waiting for them to go one by one now. Softened from last week, but I'm not enjoying her much more.

Unfortunately Kandy did win that lip sync - when she rubbed her leg like greasing up a turkey in slow motion and then the exaggerated wailing were 2 moments that Tamisha basically lacked any of, which was switching up the tempo and not just giving it 80 from start to finish. If Tamisha just had a bit more nuance she could have easily won it (but even facially she was not winning it here). I do wonder how much her colostomy bag held her back as the moment I knew about it I did feel concerned for her movement. She definitely earns a spot on All Stats as it's rather clear she was not at full capacity here and I generally enjoyed all her talk backs and talking heads.

Shame the disco wasn't a mash up of actual classics: perhaps going full Sledge slayage with Dancer, Lost In Music, Thinking, and Family topped with You Fooled Around and Pretty Baby (which seem to be building in status and just need an extra airing or two to get then there). I think the show itself failed to rise to the challenge of doing a disco week with judges and lip sinc songs. Just not a memorable episode rather than a bad one.
