Both her latest two singles I like better than anything on Now and QOM. Little Miss Twain is especially poignant knowing her backstory.
 
Loved her supporting Harry. The voice wasn't as fucked as I feared and Man I Feel Like A Woman was potentially the highlight of the whole night.

She was giving facebook aunt with the projections and it only made me love her more.
 
Did she get a good reception? She has to be one of the best supporting acts ever. It's almost like it was a joint headlining tour.
 
I've had a few listens to the album and it's easily her best since Up! for me. Really, really strong songwriting throughout. Lovely melodies for days. A bit more back to her roots and her rougher voice actually suits most of the material. It's not what it was, but either I've just gotten used to it, or she's more comfortable using this new voice now. Either way, it works for me.

What is it with all these fabulous SEXAGENARIANS releasing wonderful albums this year?!?

The streams for the pre-release singles are quite painful for someone of her stature. Yes she’s never going to be a big streaming presence with her new material, but nothing’s even cracked 1 million on Spotify yet.
 
Yeah this whole era has been pretty underwhelming so far which is a shame because I think the two singles released so far have been very good.

How do we think the album will do in the UK and US?
 
I sense it might do OK first week in the UK, as she's been promoting it a fair bit. I fear disaster in the USA though.
 
Stranger Things is such a sister song to Forever and For Always. very nice and it actually works great for her voice.

I listened to four others and thought the voice was grating on some and others were just forgettable.
 
Little Miss Twain debuts with 401k streams globally, for the entire album. :bruised:
 
she doesn't want to PEAK too SOON. although she may have peaked in 1999.
 
I'm really enjoying the album! There are some great songs and I do think her vocal suits them well enough. I feel like she belts more than she used to!
