Should we bring back Moopyrate?

Going back I recall reading that @octophone has definitely quit her admin roll.

We should probably get some mod and admin elections following the recent issues. Also there are three mods up there without having been elected.

Has there been any discussion about this in the mod forum?

Not as yet, no. I was still hoping she hadn't actually quit.

The last ones weren't really because we needed 2 or 3 mods and we had three candidates, all of whom had significant support - BT, ron and Kala. We figured something along the lines of "why faff about"?

Without wanting to dig up old arguments, there is sometimes a tendency to act like a baying mob on here. We all need to remember mods/admin are doing the roles voluntarily before going for the jugular. From the outside it looks like a thankless task.

@big ron @ButterTart and myself all expressed our interest in becoming mods in the last nominations round a few months ago and we all had some support from various Moopy members. The rest of the admin/mod team proposed that all three of us would be elected as we would all bring something different to the team. This was pretty much accepted by the rest of Moopy. That's it. It's not as if we all were elected under the table, everything was very much transparent.
