I’m just worried we’re gonna come out of lockdown and that coked up cum slut inside me will have died.

The thing I can’t stand about tinder the most though is the interminable small talk when you do match with someone, it can be EXCRUCIATING.

Or worse, HOW’S YOU. I hate that. Obviously I like it coming from the mouth of the lovely Jill Tyrell (TV version) but NOBODY ELSE THANK YOU
But Jill Tyrell is FULL OF LIES because Peter Kay isn’t DEAD.

Of course we can also learn from dear Jill how to deal with these awful Grindr sorts; next time they ask how r u, simply tell them GRUMPY TUM and move on.

Of course LOL is a long-standing dislike of mine on the apps and elsewhere, not least because it means absolutely nothing, and even this apparently intelligent, sensible-seeming German cleric to whom I’ve been pointlessly chatting has started using it

Someone I know puts 'lol x' at the end of every message he ever sends, to anyone. It drives me a bit mad, it just seems so UNBECOMING particularly for someone in their forties.

I use lol and haha way too much on the apps, but I'm trying to stop because I'm sure its ANNOYING

Especially now when I have FUCKALL TO SAY.

‘Yeah I’m great thanks, spent the last 3 days eating crisps and watching a place in the sun in my pants’

Maybe Four In A Bed would sound more interesting. Tell them you phone the winners to congratulate them :disco:

Though it IS quite fun to imagine someone having a sudden PEAL of uncontrollable laughter then spinning around and blowing a kiss over their shoulder after every sentence they speak, I suppose :disco:

i think haha is fine but why do you use lol and in what contexts? I’m genuinely interested as it drives me up the wall and I’d like to know why people use it. Admittedly I do use emojis which I’m sure irritate people

Misplaced lol is dreadful full stop.

i have replaced all lols and hahas with emojis and the occasional hahaha. the 3 has do the trick in making one seem charmingly deranged, but the regular 2 has just say: I hate my life and/or I don't find you funny.

Are you sure he doesn’t think it means lots of love? A friend of mine had a phase of doing that based on the same misunderstanding - cue my thinking WHY THE FUCK IS SHE LOLING - but it came to a pleasing end after not very long

Basically just at the end of a sentence for no reason at all. Which means I feel the need to clarify if something actually makes me laugh for real. Its pointless. Similar to using "like" as a filler word in person

I use haha way more than lol

:D I suppose haha is a bit flat. I favour “oh haw”, “ha yes” or “ha!” if anything
