I suspect Russia has not yet seen Saltburn.
I wonder what the plan is going forward? I assume there isn't anything properly new ready to go, considering she's hardly not massively prolific in terms of recording, and has just come off the back of decent sized tour.
I reckon rereleasing/promoting Hypnotized wouldn't be a bad move.

I also wonder if part of the deal was for her to go back to pop/dance too though I can’t imagine her doing anything she didn’t want to at this stage.here's what she said to Forbes in an interview out last week
“Happily and maybe in a slightly serendipitous fashion, I was already planning an album that was kind of like the albums I used to make. It suits me better to just go with my gut, rather than what I think people think I should be doing. I am ready to return to the dancefloor anyway, to be honest.”Ellis-Bextor says that a new album is in the works under her music label Polydor Records, but she is not completely certain it will be ready to be released this year. “I’ve always been with the belief that it has to be the right album, not the quickest album.”

Sophie Ellis-Bextor Talks ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’ Success In ‘Saltburn’
The longtime music artist reflects on this second wave of attention that her disco pop sound is receiving around the world, after her song was featured in the hit film.www.forbes.com
it's great news that she's back with Polydor. the budget/push will increase significantly. I wonder if that's a very recent development.
Yes, it’s featured in a hit YA romcom called Anyone But You.
at being up to #58 on the Hot 100. How fabulous.I mean, it's a shot for her to be back with a major label with a proper budget. I'm sure she jumped at the chance rather than being "nah I want to spend my own money doing coffee table albums that spends one week on the charts".I also wonder if part of the deal was for her to go back to pop/dance too though I can’t imagine her doing anything she didn’t want to at this stage.
Might be a very dumb question, but I vaguely remember someone mentioning Rosamund could be nominated for an Oscar…would this be eligible at all or does it miss the cut off/an old song isn’t allowed etc?
It’s best Original song, which this isn’t.

It doesn't have to be from the last 12 months, although obviously most of the time it probably will be.It needs to be a brand new song from the past 12 months, not one written and released over 20 years ago.![]()
That's good. I was concerned that this week may be where she levelled out and dropped below last week, so the clock towards ACR began ticking. But hopefully not if she's above last Friday.650k yesterday was its biggest day so farand she's up 1 spot to a new peak of 14 on global
Yes, my friend got me a ticket as a Xmas gift. The other support act on the bill is T’Pau, so should be a fun show.did we know she's the support act for the Human League's UK arena tour later this year?
