Annabel and Johannes were on It Takes Two tonight talking about their CC, which is dedicated to her husband.

There are definitely a few couples with iffy looking dances. You Can Call Me Al does feel risky, a Rumba certainly isn't ideal for Adam especially coming off the dance off and Angela didn't seem too confident about a Scanlon Samba.

That was quite an enjoyable watch overall 😊👯🪩the scoring was overall much more reasonable for the dances this 'halfway point' week, and I'd agree with the top 3, Layton, Ellie and Annabel this week, followed closely by Nigel. Even Tess was more interesting this evening, helped by Anton holding her hand, haha. :D
I agree that Adam looks to be leaving, but the others in the dance-off, not sure.

I suspect Angela S or Krishnan.

My main take away from tonight is: is there any song LESS suited to being your wedding song than Dancing On My Own?! :D

I suspect Angela S or Krishnan.

I wonder if Angela R could be in the mix. Near the bottom, and on second with a not particularly memorable dance, though the judges being unusually harsh in their criticism of her might go in her favour.

I love Krishnan but knowing the music and then seeing those outfits I knew I was not going to particularly enjoy his dance.

Angela Scanlon's Samba was better than I feared.

Ellie was outstanding. Dance of the series so far.

Annabel was also beautiful. That elegant but more loose contemporary style really suited her. Johannes is so wonderful with her too.

Also Bobby Brazier giving advice to young men to have a relationship with God post-dance felt like an awkward moment.

I couldn't work out if Bobby was joking or not - from his delivery I thought the former, and that it might be a reference to a meme or popculture thing I'm too old to understand - but google suggests he's 'spiritual'.

Anyway I thought last night's show was much betta than Halloween week. Vito and Ellie were the highlight obv. Lauren dancing with Krishnan reminded me of a dancing dog routine at Crufts - with her being all enthusiastic and fab and him being a beat behind cheerfully dancing around her - and I rather enjoyed it for that.

My feeling is that the Angelas might not be safe this week. The producers sticking Angela R in the death slot with a nothingy dance by her standards made it feel like this is the moment they're happy for her to go. I love Angela Scanlon but her and Carlos are doing nothing for me and she's yet to truly bring it.

I've not been watching this series but I did happen to catch up on Annabel's performance and her story this year and it moved me to tears seeing that dance. :o Beautiful.

CLAUDIA WINKLEMAN DOING SHAKIRA :D

And then Vito calling her Tess while explaining why he and Ellie are called Team Aubergine...

Motsi has been on form this year, and how lovely that Oti can come back and choreograph a pro dance and guest on It Takes Two despite leaving to be a judge on that show on the other side.

Adam knew his time was up, and versus Angela the result felt inevitable. Luba did the best Rumba she could for his ability and at least made herself look fabulous. She seemed much more upset than Adam did at the end.

Imagine losing a dance off to a 79 year old though. It must sting, even if it's Rippon.

Angela is surely due another Latin next week, unless they are going with the CC to get her through to Blackpool.

I think the only 'slow' dances she has left are the Viennese Waltz and American Smooth, which I can see her doing in Blackpool. Next week will be interesting, if she's not doing a salsa, samba or jive there'll be uproar.
*gets rumba*

My favourite Annabel Croft moment is when she got the bun from the elephant as the treasure on Treasure Hunt with 1 second to spare.

I remember that so well. For me though... it was INTERCEPTOR.

On the 2nd of the 2 dance off dances. I think Angela's "problem" was that her dance didn't offer anything new or show a sense of development for her, plus her party peice leg raise wasn't even that high this time. However, the yucky candlelight Robyn has ended and I'm sure she'll be fine.

Annabel has a Samba too, which I don't think will suit her, but it will surely be better than that, and I would be a bit surprised to see her go the week after her CC.

Yeah I think Krishnan's dead in the water. They've put him on first with a shit dance in a week that's started earlier than any other, and he'll surely lose a dance off against anyone left?
