That was much better from George this week. Very good.
 
Amber was FABULOUS but I just can’t warm to her.

That was definitely Vicky’s best dance.
 
Shirley put a bit of a dampener on that :D

I did think Harry looked strangely skippy sometimes.
 
As wonderful as a lot of the dances have been, it definitely feels like some of the judges have become a little too loose and free with the 10s. Not every dance can be the "best of the night"! Craig really is utterly essential for keeping balance.

Last night really hammered home that going first sees a lower score. Lewis and Katya would have defs been a few higher if they'd closed the show.

Lured in by Nancy's spoiler again and CHRIST THAT WAS CLOSE. I hope she gets a bounce next week so she can get to (and probs then go out at) Blackpool, which feels like the right arc. Delighted for Balvinder - it would have been brutal if that VT and dance had seen her dance off again.

Amber's was my dance of the evening. It looked great, and fuck me at some of those lifts.
 
Loved the campery of Alex having human beings appearing happy to be labelled "village friends" and can only hope it's the start of something.
 
I thought Harry was much better in the dance-off, regardless of the thing he does at the beginning, oh well. :(

Glad that Balvinder and Julian were the 2nd ones through 😍 yet the -isms are ever-present.
I hope whoever does replace Tess and Claudia (if this show will still be on) and the next BBC director general and CEO will be decent/not right-wing-y.
 
That was a pretty fair bottom two. I did fear they were going to save Harry, but I think there wasn't really much more to see from him. La Voix has the cut of her jib going for her.
 
Anyway I quite liked the artist feature again (James Morrison) they've been rather nice, kind of nostalgic, even if they're a newer artist (like Cat Burns).

I think avoiding the dance off again may be difficult for La Voix looking at who is left. She'll definitely need a memorable number.

Obviously we know that Balvinder's vote hasn't been that strong and Amber could drop down again if she doesn't have a wow dance/the leaderboard doesn't line up for her, but who else?
 
I guess it's Balvinder next week, against a shock. Maybe Karen or Alex? Or Amber again thanks to the cruel public.

And then La Voix in Blackpool like Music predicts, with everything then becoming SERIOUS as we head to the final.
 
At this point, La Voix and Balvinder recurring in the bottom two is going to be inevitable.

In terms of who else joins them, I actually think it could be ANYONE with the exception of perhaps Vicky. Amber's already demonstrated a lack of public support, and I actually suspect Lewis could easily suffer the same issue in a bad week. Alex and Karen will likely live and die by their scores in any given week. George is a total wildcard - I know the prevailing wisdom is his online fanbase will see him through, but I also suspect that might also make him a judges target in any dance-off; do they really risk him undermining the whole series by winning the damn thing given his middling performance thus far?
 
Talking about wildcards, if they did something like that (maybe for a week like Blackpool) then bring back Ellie and Vito, what a great jive! 🤗
