Top tip: Don't take a hidden little path when you go for a walk in a park. You might end up having to walk through a bog like I just had to do. Jeans and shoes DEAD

I can only imagine :D

I didn't squeal but I did laugh out loud as I tried and failed to hang on to some scraggly branches around the edges

MORNING

I am eating a tin of beans with vegetarian sausages in that I found at the back of the cupboard and they're really quite good but I've run out of brown sauce, which meant I've had to dig even further back and get out the bottle of SPROUT ketchup I bought last Christmas for LOLs and forgot about and it's really quite pleasant too.

And I had a Baileys about half an hour ago as I realised there was about a shot in the bottom of a bottle when I was rearranging the bar area display and otherwise it wouldn't have been symmetrical, so...

WIN WIN WIN of a morning so far.

I’m minded to pop out and feed ducks today except the last time I did it I took oats BECAUSE BREAD BAD APPARENTLY and did they want them? NO!

My local park now has a sign up saying it's okay to feed them bread in moderation, because after putting a sign up a while back saying NOT to feed them it, half of them starved to death.

What's 'in moderation', though? And how the buggery am I meant to know what anyone else is feeding them?

Have any of you ever been put off their food by a totally unconnected sight? Like a poo or something.

That trope has come up on two different things I’ve watched today and I just can’t relate

THEN THERE WAS THE TIME I THOUGHT I’D SEEN AN OSTRICH, BUT IT WAS JUST A GOOSE STOOD IN FRONT OF A BOLLARD

When I used to work in the countryside I once went on a walk where I fell over in a muddy field and got my shirt and trousers covered in mud to much amusement of the office

:D

Some people will do anything for attention!

I did fear that was going to be me today for a second to be honest

I also got bitten by a horse on my birthday once on a lunch time stroll.
I should have just gone to Tesco at lunchtime like the rest of the village

Oh my fucking god I didn’t want to leave the flat today but I’m running low on COFFEE.

I’ve not had a fag in three days and you’ll be interested to learn that I’ve also not passed a mess in that time. Coincidence? I THINK NOT

@Lucille Did Lidl not have their traditional Oktoberfest celebrations this year or did I somehow miss them? I think this unlikely given that I am your resident HAWK EYE FOR TAT UND NOVELTÄT

I’ve not had a fag in FOUR DAYS. Which explains why I’m so MISERABLE and BORED.

They do punctuate things somewhat. I’m rather restless and indecisive today but am trying to cast aside my magical thinking that smoking will make it better, as both occur when I’m fagging anyway
