These are the same thing, as far as I can ascertain.

I also don't think I would count the signed editions as separate - no-one is buying a signed and an unsigned CD.
 
To be clear - I hate this shit but call it out in everyone, not just the people you dislike.

On what planet did TTPD only have 6 variants? I guess if you count vinyls only but I feel like they released a special digital and or CD version once a week.
 
This is the only major difference between Swift and most others - she's selling CDs and in high volume. Most concentrate on vinyl which is vastly more expensive. At least - and this is a real 'least' - those CDs she put up at the weekend were £7.99 each.
 
They are cheaper but I do find the multiple one or two alt track CD variants that she specialises in especially shameless... I guess it is the type of completist I am. A different cover or colour vinyl is what it is.
 
Come on let's face it Taylor is the queen of variants and always has been. Yes Brat had a lot of variants but it was no different than your average pop record and it's not like she always does it.

Pisses me off too. I bought a 2LP of 'brat and it's the same...." because of the songs that weren't on the original physical because I really want to have all the songs. Then the remix album was announced and it turned out to be entirely unnecessary.

I blame Paul McCartney. No, I do. They met at the end of 2020 when she moved "evermore" so it didn't clash with "McCartney III"/ MCIII has 4 different CDs each with one demo on them. So THAT'S who gave her the idea!
 
I mean it’s all annoying at this point but I can guarantee if Madonna was doing this 20 years ago I would be crying and shaking and throwing up to get 84 versions of the same CD :D
 
Apparently EVIL Taylor’s grip on the vinyl market isn’t allowing for other vinyl releases. I wouldn’t be suspended if her and her EVIL banker parents bought stocks in vinyl manufacturers years ago.
 
There is not a single artist on Gods Greeneth Eartheth that I would buy 2 versions of the same vinyl for.

I'm trying to remember if there were ever rules in the album chart in the UK for the number of variants or formats.

I mean weren't Gaga tickets £475
