I really don’t like the finals starting so late now. All just to pander to American TV. They don’t make any compromises for international audiences, so why should we?

I think they’ve cushioned it by saying it’s better to end the tournament with the singles finals, and putting the doubles finals on earlier draws more attention to them. But that’s just not true. It’s clearly for the US broadcasters.
