this is tense. I really do quite like old man Novak these days but pulling for Felix. he needs this.

Yes they’re playing longer but I feel we’re entering an age of tennis where injuries are going to be the norm. I don’t like the man but his consistency has been superhuman.

Just please no to an 8th Wimbledon. Let Roger have something nice to himself. Rafa has Roland Garros.
 
Felix played one of the matches of his life so let's not do him too dirty. Novak had better fucking win Wimbledon now or WHAT WAS THIS FOR???

So some thoughts...a bit bummed that Osaka didn't win but I like her opponent too whose name escapes me. And I might be the only one on here but I'm GLAD that Novak won, but I think Sinner will win in the semi.

As long as Fritz does the usual, I'll be rooting for whoever comes through the bottom half to win in the final. But I don't think Novak winning the title would be the worst thing, as if he gets #25 he'll be more likely to leave us in peace.
 
I went a few times as a student when I didn’t mind queuing with friends and always got very good tickets. I think we joined the queue around 3am but it was better then as one of the queues was allowed be on the side of the golf course for the two weeks so it was actually not too bad to camp out with your Sainsbury’s carry out. I think that queue option was made defunct years ago but could be wrong.

I don’t bother with the ballot because I’m lazy and often you’ll get offered tickets for courts at stages where they aren’t too attractive in terms of order of play.

I did get into Aarongi one year as a last minute hitting partner for one of the female players who I’d practiced a bit with when she did a training block in Portugal when I was living there and her regular guy phoned in sick for the day. Only the one day though.
