Noskova is a talent but frustratingly inconsistent but has had a good grass swing. Mertens is the epitome of top end gatekeeper.

I wonder if he has a style of forehand that players aren’t used to. I’ve seen other rounds where very good players have struggled with returns. Fery plays rallies very safe and defensively and waits for his opponent to make a mistake - bold against some of these players, but for whatever reason it works more often than not!
 
Cobolli acknowledging that remarkable rally with a thumbs up even though he lost the point was cute. Fery is playing some amazing tennis - not just his style of play but his strategy. Not the tennis of a wildcard.
 
Good for Arthur but I'm having nightmares of him getting the job done from here, and then losing to the ONE player we actually need him to defeat.
 
It's not like Zverev has much to fear in Cobolli on the strength of this match.
 
The way Fery is playing here he is much more likely to be a disruptor to Zverev's game.
 
Cobolli crumbling before our eyes. All Fery needs to do here is hold his serve and he’s proven he is more than capable of doing that even against the toughest opponents.
 
Arthur Fery in a Wimbledon semi final is great news. Arthur Fery as the only non-evil player in the Wimbledon semi finals will be much less great news.
