Muchova has the tools to be favourite for sure but Noskova’s best is a high bar, she’s just inconsistent bringing it. Linda has also got the best serving stats this tournament and is usually very calm so is definitely in with a big chance. She’s beaten big names in big matches before.

They’re good friends too so that also adds a different dynamic. Linda seems like a decent person, she spends a lot of her off time doing charity work helping out at schools in Africa. Not that it’s a reason for her to win but is a refreshing change from the glamour shots lots tend to post.

Bouchard is useless. So she made the final once? Her credentials are lousy and Laura Robson is a far better broadcaster anyway.

Some of the BBC's choices this year have been questionable. Jamie Murray is too po-faced to be on TV. Kyle Edmund has been decidedly average in the commentary team and whilst we've had the joyous news that Andrew Castle is leaving, they've relied too heavily on the frankly awful Chris Bradnam.

I really disagree with this. if making a Wimbledon final is not enough to be doing commentary let's boot almost the entire team.

Bouchard is good courtside and doing analysis in the studio. she's likeable too. Jamie is not po-faced and should actually be commentating, not stuck in that stats room.

I would bin off John McEnroe and Sam Smith, keep Genie, and upgrade Robson and Murray to actual match commentary.
