I watched them all with an adblocker (someone posted a good one here) on daily motion.
The only thing that drove me crazy was the Australian/USA format of repeating the last 5 minutes before an ad break in the first 5 minutes after the ad break. 10 minutes of the same scene
Ublock Origin is the only blocker that seems to work. I got zero ads with that. It was intolerable with others. Literally ads every 2 minutes. If you are on a Mac, that means downloading Firefox or Chrome as a browser.I have tried Dailymotion for stuff but I just can't get an adblocker working properly on there.
I’m on episode 7. I’m enjoying it but it’s definitely not quite as good a season of reality tv as Uk one. I do like Australian reality tv (based on their Survivor and their Amazing Race) but they really do have a weird way of introducing players halfway through a season. Just edit them better to start with!!
) and there’s still a player that hasn’t even been introduced and almost no screen time at all. How weird.I became low-key obsessed with this Sherry Pie editing. The only reason I could find was that he had allegedly been inappropriate?I’m on episode 10 now (I’ve barely done anything else other than watching this since yesterday) and there’s still a player that hasn’t even been introduced and almost no screen time at all. How weird.

Yes - Odette! Not watched this yet, but Australian Survivor has a habit of doing similar. You become aware of someone about 6 episodes in who you never noticed before and who seemingly played no part in anything prior to that episode. But the format there frequently involves focusing on one team, so I guess that explains it to some extent.
Well this was very entertaining, but felt very different to the UK one by the end.
The endingwas a bit of a heartbreaker. Poor Craig was gutted and quite rightly. He thought he'd just won $125k and was betrayed by the closest person to him in the final 5. Bless him. Alex played a brilliant game though.
It seems their end game is slightly different to ours. He said if there are two traitors or two faithfuls at the end they play a game of 'steal or share',.. so what? They could both choose steal and end up with noone winning anything at all!?! That would be very unsatisfying if it ever happens.
He was useless but it broke my heart a little bit.
I saw a rumour of a nasty fall out with Teresa somewhere, but it's really hard to find any info at all to be honest.
Yes! To be honest the editing made it very obvious how the show would end from about 2 episodes earlier, but the ending and reveal was all very satisfying viewing. What i found weird, but compelling was:
The dramatic tension of the final reveal coming not from a reveal to the audience, since we know who wins for almost 10 minutes before it is formalised, but the tension that comes from waiting for the reaction of the final faithful having been shafted. It was glorious, and so much more enjoyable than the reveal of The Mole
I think Kate and Marc were so much better than any of our faithfuls in the UK version.
I felt like there were a couple more slips from the Traitors too - Marielle's slip about Fi saying to go for Teresa if she went out that night and then Kate and Teresa putting it together in the car was a great moment.
Alex was overall a decent player and deserved her win but that very last moment between her and Craig, I played over about 10 times... it's delightfully AWFUL.He was useless but it broke my heart a little bit.
I too am obsessed with Paul. The way they would just about show his votes, but not his face most episodes, was so funny.I saw a rumour of a nasty fall out with Teresa somewhere, but it's really hard to find any info at all to be honest.
I actually felt really sorry for Matt. He was so annoying, but like I say, I felt the women were a bit Mean Girls on him, especially Fi and Teresa.
I just did the maths on Crazy Psychic Chloe getting 2 out of 4 right by pure chance and I believe it's only about 13%, so not quite statistically significant enough to say that she has special powers - but I'd say it's interesting enough. I do think mediums are generally very astute people that then convince themselves of their own powers sometimes. I'd love to know why she walked out
I can’t seem to find any of this on daily motion anymore
Isn't Australia sick of Luke Toki yet?
