The United Kingdom: The Liz Truss CRASHING THE PORK MARKET WEEKS 🐷🐖📉📅🥬

:D!!!

In all serious I think it's unlikely, especially if 100 MPS support is needed to get onto the final ballot.
Question Time has given me some confidence that he won't be back. A mostly Tory constituency serving up an audience that's cheering a general election and laughing at suggestions of Johnson coming back :D

Cheltenham is very very marginal though. Will easily go Lib Dem next time

I had to switch off after one Tory loon in the audience claimed it was Labour’s fault the government had performed poorly.

The numbers for Boris Johnson are extremely disheartening.

However, I'm trying to be rational and of course his supporters will be first out of the traps because to them he is the only choice. They're not thinking beyond him because they're completely incapable/unwilling to do so. Even during the last leadership vote, most of them only backed the person (Liz Truss) they believed was continuing his legacy.

It's a no-brainer (:eyes:) vote for them, whereas it seems the majority of the party acknowledge that they actually need to think about who's best, rather than who's necessarily their favourite. Therefore, I'd hope to see the momentum for Boris Johnson slow down - if not completely falter - and the gap start to close.

The right-wing press are fully coalescing behind Johnson :zombie:

I'm not really inclined to blame the Ukrainians for wanting somebody sympathetic to their cause in No 10 to be honest. They don't have to live with the fucker...

That fat fucking cunt's gurning face is filling me with fury. I've realised he's a trigger for my mental health and I sincerely don't know what I'll do if he gets back in.

How can we have fallen so far that this fat, rapist-enabling fucking cunt is being cheered by ANYONE? They want this fat, murderous, lying, pro-rape cluster of cancerous cells to slither back into number 10 with his whore and bastards?

Good, fucking bring it on. At this point I could do with putting a few windows through and this insult is just the riot trigger the country needs and, come the election, he'll be more fucked than all those women he shoved his diseased cock up while his wife was being treated for cancer.

I really, truly hope his death is exquisitely painful and in the very near future.

It's exactly what I said a few weeks ago. Don't wish on Truss to leave, you'll only get Boris back. As damaged as he might have been, as chaotic as the Tories have been, he very well might pull off a victory in the next election.

Watching BBC Breakfast right now. It seems everyone wants Johnson back. They're talking as if we need to reset to his 2019 mandate and treat the last few years as a blip. Lots of rousing talk about getting him back because the countrh NEEDS him, etc etc. Think we may need to resign ourselves to it happening.

Such short memories on these people.

The BBC's reporting on this is exceptionally strange when you look at even the first hint of any polling on him. A lot of very heavy handed editorialising going on.

Yes I'm saying this based on a grand total of two interviewees, but as Penny says, it's the framing of it all giving that impression.

I can see him winning though, as they are clearly OUT OF IDEAS, and have already scraped the BOTTOM OF THE BARREL. He’s the only option that will prevent them having to call an election, so BUCKLE UP BUCKAROOS for 2 more years of BORIS.

My sense is that they're at the point where they're fucked whoever they choose, but it's just various different shades of fucked. The country's broadly had enough of their shit.

Can you imagine what it’ll do to Boris’ ego if he does manage to come back? He’s going to be so much worse than last time…

I wonder if he’d clash with Hunt over austerity though? He’s a shameless populist, and austerity is hugely unpopular.
