The re-allocation of funds is garbage. It will take decades to establish a new east to west line. They don’t even have a clue what the route will be.

If all HS2 achieves is to carve through dozens of safe Tory seats making all of their constituents hate them, I think that‘s worth £93 billion of anyone’s money.
 
I’ve literally never heard of this Cabinet (!) member. She’s been in government for just over a year. Just how thin are the blue benches?

The whole conference seems to be setting the agenda for their time in opposition. The wildest thing is they mostly don't think they're right wing enough. With all the insane talk of woke railways, seven bins and meat taxes. They've absolutely lost the fucking plot.

Meanwhile Sunak is dropping dreadful but mainstream policy announcements. Is an election forthcoming?
