HMV have increased their 3 of £55 vinyl offer to 3 for £66. There are several albums in the offer costing £21 or £22. As always, one can shop judiciously but it's quite a hike in one go for the sake of symmetry.*

*is there a numerical equivalent of alliteration?

HMV is a ridiculous High Street akin to American candy stores at this point, though. 3 for £66 is not a fucking OFFER. Especially when you see some of the SHITE they throw in there.

These new picture disc and splatter vinyl reissues of Sam Fox’s first three albums look very pretty but I absolutely must not buy them, who knew there was such a demand to produce two variants of each. The Touch Me era should’ve be a spunk splatter design.

It is beyond me who buys this tat. The first two albums at the very least are readily available for £3 at the absolute most.

I have all three on vinyl already, the first two were certainly £1 tip purchases and my Touch Me is a deluxe edition with extra tracks (and maybe an extra 12").

As if to prove home much of a choice the high prices we see are - all 3 for £62? They're finally releasing Ethel Cain's album on vinyl and have had to delay it to increase the pressing due to demand. It's £21.99 plus postage from the retailer I use. I wonder if they would have experienced the level of demand if it had been the £44.99 we see elsewhere?
