I’m TOAST if one lands here, I have a FIGHTING CHANCE back home though and may come out of it UNSCATHED :shock: (well, until I succumb to radiation sickness)

The reports of the convoy not moving because of a combination of weather, lack of fuel, flat tyres, poor maintenance, poor communication and personnel simply not being motivated doesn’t suggest adding more poorly motivated / equipped personnel is going to help.

Are they simply going to get sick, unable to advance, or even withdraw?

At least the Arabs are going to get a bit of a break in Hollywood for the next decade or so as the Michael Bay crowd move back to Russian villains for a while instead.

The Russian actors in LA will be the only Russians earning money so that’s at least something

Imagine being Russian though, living in Russia. Even if you did buy into the Cult Of Putin, the continuous feeling of oppression, the constant threat of war, and anywhere between mockery and hatred from the rest of the world, depending on which decade we’re in. What a life.
 
I’m not certain that many ordinary Russians necessarily “bought into” the Cult of Putin. More like WERE BRAINWASHED INTO IT

Fuck the BBC just now for being JUST AS BAD with the "nuclear plant is on fire" soundbite to scare everyone over a small fire in an admin building.
 
It's a bit worrying that we have so many reports of undertrained Russian soldiers - and they're taking over all these nuclear facilities...
