It is actually, at least one good thing has happened this morning. Is this your first daily thread, Soldi? It's a special moment.
Woke up thinking it was Friday which, in fact, it is not. I think this has set the tone for the rest of the day.
Sainsbury's for me today. They've got a really good social distancing system in place.

I find people queue up outside with no problem, then get inside and forget all about it. Tesco have a one way system but I'm not really sure what that means if you get to the end and realise you've forgotten about 6 things (may or may not be talking from personal experience).
The biggest problem is wankers coming up and taking things off the shelf from over your shoulder. I hope Sainsbury's social distancing policy includes SHOOTING them
This is true. The last time I went out was 4 weeks ago to any shop. I really do need some air.
You've not been out at ALL? Or just not out to the shops?
I hate supermarket shopping. I go in, whizz round, don't look at my list, then realise I've forgotten anything I don't regularly buy. I'm also trying to not DAWDLE in front of any shelves (can't say the same for fellow shoppers...) So this whole business just isn't working for me.Oh, I know...I walk *very* quickly so I can occasionally go past something by the time I've thought "oooh, hold on, I could do with some ownbrand Wheetybisks". Can I take those two steps back without some fucking COP glowering at me? No. No I can't.

To the shops! I don't manage to get out a lot otherwise though, it's really tough as I'm on my own with both kids so I usually have to wait till the weekend when Mr Star is free to help.
Actually yesterday I was feeling a bit down about it all. Feels like my day is just 5am -8pm kids and by then I'm so exhausted I have no time for me. Think I'm just going to have to take them both out round the block and hope neither runs out into the road![]()

WHERE IS THE WEDNESDAY RESULTS THREAD
This is what gets me! You see someone coming so you stop to give them space and let them though. Then some other idiot sees you standing there and squeezes through you and the person you were waiting for making the whole thing pointless.only for some MAN to walk right in between us and shout DID MY WIFE LEAVE HER CAR KEYS HERE. I scoffed in his face so I hope THAT SHOWED HIM.
Exactly this. This is what gets me! You see someone coming so you stop to give them space and let them though. Then some other idiot sees you standing there and squeezes through you and the person you were waiting for making the whole thing pointless.
I wasn’t standing there waiting for no reason!
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with us heroic key workers playing the key worker card once in a while/hourly.I'm playing the KEY WORKER card so vigorously, it's going to be more worn out than Boris Johnson's wanking sock.
I have managed not to go to any shops at all thanks to Ocado. I should probably feel bad for taking a slot that a vulnerable person could potentially use but I DON'T
Anyone who keeps me in pizza is as important as they come. Some heroes wear aprons etc.I think the term Keyworker is very broad and there are plenty of people who are classed as a keyworker who actually, probably aren’t that important. Someone who works at Domino’s is hardly critical, are they? Or someone who works in George at Asda.
You've had the dreaded Covid, you're excused.
but fuck that. Dominoes not a keyworker? Wash your mouth out!I think the term Keyworker is very broad and there are plenty of people who are classed as a keyworker who actually, probably aren’t that important. Someone who works at Domino’s is hardly critical, are they? Or someone who works in George at Asda.
