We were promised sun today but all we have is CLOUD :oi:

Off to home bargains in a bit to buy my weight in TAT
 
Well it’s a STUNNING DAY in zone 3/4 and I’m trying to summon the strength to go get my hair cut.

It's sunny and warm in Belfast. Alas, I'm away to North Antrim where it is cloudier and grey, but it's to be nice later on.
 
It's finally cooler over here.
Covering up and sleeping under warm blankets feels good.
 
I've just listened to REM's 'Monster' for the first time in over a decade, possibly longer. Still not very good.
 
Dragged Ron Jr out into the sun for a glorious walk after sunbathing all morning. Football and sofa time now. Its such a shame the winters are so long and punishing in the UK because when its prime this place is glorious.
 
Today I have lay around with a fan beating on me and got some shopping delivered.

Tomorrow I have to go for an ECG and I am NOT excited. I suffer white coat syndrome big time.
 
I got a bit too much sun yesterday so I’m sat watching a MTV Europe compilation and so far we have gotten Haddaway and Marky Mark :vomit:

As a fellow sufferer of WCS I sympathise wholeheartedly. Just try to keep calm with steady breathing, in through the nose and out through the mouth and go to your happy place while you're hooked up if you can. I tell myself things like "this time in an hour I'll be home again, just sixty little minutes to endure" and then I break the sixty minutes down into five minute blocks and then there's only twelve to get through and so on. I also sing songs in my head, the best one that works for me is American Pie by Don McLean but when I'm really anxious I sing The Song That Doesn't End because, well, it doesn't end.
 
After a very busy week checking in and catching up with everyone here I have spent today watching CHANNEL 5 DRAMA BOXSETS and snacking on twister ice creams and must admit I have enjoyed some time to myself.

Once, when I ended up in hospital over a “heart attack” that was actually a panic attack. I don’t remember much about it though, all just became a blur.

This time it’s because the doctor has detected an irregular heartbeat. I just get terribly nervous around most medical professionals, although (and bizarrely) I’m completely relaxed at the dentist and sometimes even enjoy it.
