Tuesday books a fortnight in Jaywick

Are either of these the SLOW one?
The slow one is the one that has covid. Although we've discovered since the summer holidays and us being ridiculously busy, she's really good! Definitely works better under pressure.

oh absolutely!
Anyway what a rookie mistake - you learn early that you never put fudge or chocolate in a pic n mix, (special exception for jazzies which are really thin)
Absolutely :D

Thank you! I'm going to try not to take any meds to be honest. I am taking glucosamine, tumeric and collagen supplements tho.

I've heard of turmeric for it, make sure you get a pure supplement. And also the heat thing does help, joint pains are worse when it's cold. And keep moving where you can, keep exercising your hands.

We're seeing fires in the mountain slopes again coming from two different places, there's plenty of airplanes, i think theres help from the rest of europe plus egypt still here too, looks like they'll put it out, no evacuation messages this time.

I have turmeric with ginger. Only started today.

Keeping moving my hands would explain why they're better when I'm at work and worse when I have a day off actually.

I will go for bloods but I really don't want to start on any meds apart from supplements if I can help it.

Where abouts are you?

It's the northwest Peloponnese @Rachey there's lot of forest and olive groves and vineyards, can't see any smokes now, they keep on taking water from the sea and dropping it to the slopes, I guess it's just to be sure it's over, cause they can't operate after the sun sets. I think we're good.

@Rachey I am not all that sure how you actually make fudge but is it possible that you have maybe strained your fingers/hands from fudge rolling? Did you have it before you started your training for opening the shop?

I'm certain it's shop related. The way I hold the paddle etc, I'm constantly gripping. I was fine pre shop.

Could it be carpal tunnel syndrome? People who work in office settings get that quite a lot. I know you don’t work in an office now, but you have done most of your working life, no?

Do you get that in both hands? I think it's something called trigger finger. Google told me.

I am assuming it is quite hard work on your hands, so would say you have probably strained something and maybe the longer you do what you are doing your hands will get used to it? I am no doc obviously, but it certainly sounds like that rather than arthritis to me.

Well I did think this. Because a few weeks ago it was my thumbs and wrists that hurt. Now it's my fingers.

I'd like it to clear up by Monday so I can cancel my blood test.

Go get the tests if it would put your mind at rest. Then at least you will know it’s not that and can get to the bottom of it. It sounds very uncomfortable.
Yeah it's not pleasant. I think what I need is a holiday!

@Rachey Get yourself some of those squeezy things for strengthening your hands. This kind of thing Hand grips (don't forget to use the link)

I have hand problems because of the amount of typing I do and they help a lot, five minutes a couple of times a day when my thumbs are hurty and they ease up pretty quickly. I know you're resistant to painkillers but Ibuprofen will probably do you a world of good too. You don't have to take it forever, just for a couple of days to reduce the discomfort.

Ooohhh I'll buy some of those, thank you. I did get some ibuprofen so I might try them. It's more the meds they will want to give me if it's diagnosed that I'm not interested in yet.

I’ve been to see The Windsors Endgame with Tracy-Ann Oberman as Camilla and I enjoyed pantomime booing her while remembering what a cunt she is on Twitter :)
