UK General Election 2024 - Results Day

If you want to appeal to a progressive electorate, you don't make a bigot your deputy leader. If you want to lose votes to the Tories, you don't have Tory Lite as your deputy leader.

I feel a bit sorry for Jonathan Ashworth. He can come across a bit whingey, but he’s passionate and has been quite a good media voice for Labour.

9000 votes in Leicester East to disgraced former Labour MPs.

Starting to see now why Labour's exit poll was 410 not the 450 that was talked about previously

Any chance of a Kitty update @AGinAg (39) ? Equally, a Bartholomew update would be lovely, @ZenGiraffe ...

Muslim vote + Keith Vaz splitting the vote
And Claudia Webbe splitting the vote. And a high Hindu population who might support Sunak more than the average.
