Wednesday is Sports Day

I used to be shit at sports day but then I won an actual medal in a karate national championship when I was 12 so 🤷‍♀️

Mine always used to get called off if it rained.. I think I only ever did about three or four.

I used to love going to my kids sports days, but used to spend most of them geeing myself up for the mums race. The heels would be whipped off, and I would go in with high hopes every year to always come around 3rd or 4th. :(

Much better than your ASFM results anyway.

I'm back in the office since Monday but I got home yesterday and Monday at 5.30pm and I crashed on my couch at 6pm, falling asleep for 2 1/2 hours. Heart says "I want to work out", Body says "Not so fast".

Sinus issues and headaches fade in and out each day, too. :zombie:

Well I’ve got Covid again. FUN TIMES!

It's deffos having a bit of a comeback. Everyone I know who went to Glastonbury got it. Took some of the fomo sting away.

My baby is growing so fast already.

Mine’s currently eating SHIT.

Oh god I remember when I had my puppy and it ate a load of shit then came bounding up with all brown slobber swinging from his chops. Fucking BOAK.

Think I was actually just sick in my mouth a little. :zombie:

Absolutely HATED sports day - was thrilled when it became optional. The whole "physical strength = superior being" shit is so fucking toxic.

We had “field day” and luckily I got to compete in cake decorating

I would like this day 90% more if parents didn’t attend and ask me why their child lost the egg and spoon race, or why they can’t all have a medal

My class parents gave nothing but LOVE to our teachers for the sports day! But then perhaps because it was reception there was no competitive element and they all got a sticker so they were happy.

If everyone ‘wins’ then everyone is also a LOSER
